Texas James Plumbing

Texas James Plumbing came out yesterday and did a great job fixing a leak in our main intake. Nash and Shawn were excellent; professional, polite, and efficient. They explained the issue clearly, got my approval on the estimate, then got it done fast and clean. They also walked me through the repair when finished. I’d give them 6 stars if I could. Really glad I found them.

I called Texas James Plumbing at 4:45 pm on a Thursday afternoon due to a 2nd floor bathroom sink clogged, over flowing, spilling over the edge to the bathroom floor then into a bedroom with carpet. Within an hour, the owner Tex was at my house. He was in and out of the attic multiple times as he determined the issue was a clogged AC line that drained to the sink. The issue was not an easy fix based on the way my attic is configured but he solved the problem and didn't leave until he ensured everything was draining the way it should. He was professional, upfront with the cost, and provided us tips on how to avoid this problem in the future. I also appreciated their text communication to let me know what time the individual would arrive, their name, their photo, and even updates of his ETA.

Called after a toilet overflow flooded our bathroom. Nash came out and replaced all the inner workings of that toilet quickly and with quality parts. He was very respectful to me and my home. He took the time to explain what was wrong and what he needed to do to fix it. I asked him to replace the other 2 toilets in the house as well since we had noticed some minor issues with them. He did a fantastic job and haven’t had any issues since. We will definitely be using them again and would recommend.

I came into Houston from out of town to visit my family and hadn't been in my other house for about 6 months. I let my dog into the backyard after a long drive and as soon as I turned the hose on to give him some water the handle snapped and I couldn't turn it back off. Texas James plumbing was there within an hour and got me fixed up. Shawn had everything he needed on his truck and was in and out in a jiffy. Great company great people.

We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Rolando. He called ahead, arrived on time, quickly identified the issue, and completed the repair the same day. Throughout the process, he was courteous and took the time to clearly explain the work he was doing. The job wasn’t easy—carrying the boiler up to our second-floor attic was no small task—but his team handled it efficiently and professionally. We’ll definitely be requesting Rolando again for any future plumbing needs!
