Zoom Drain

The Tec was really helpful. He explained the procedure and pricing before I authorized the service. He was in and out quickly and then discussed maintenance moving forward.

I have used Zoom Drains for two of my houses and Donald and Rob were great for both experiences. We had toilets installed and sewer lines inspected and Donald did a great job from the time he arrived and kept me up to date till the very end by providing me the inspection report. I would recommend zoom drains to my family and friends and they had great customer service. Donald had a lot of experience and answered all my questions.

He was attentive to my concerns and request. After signaling a completion of his work, I went and checked the flow, noted a leak, and he promptly repaired the leak. I would call ZOOM Drain, again.

Will not be going with this company and I do not understand how this company has 4.8 stars. We had the technician come out, and without asking, began digging a deep hole in our front yard. I understand it was needed in order to diagnose the issue, but I feel like something that should’ve been OK’d by the homeowners. The guy told us it would be 1,600 all in. Being that this was our first quote, there was hesitation by us. He said he can maybe get it even cheaper for us if he can get it approved by his manager. So we waited for the quote. Two days passed and we never received it so we emailed him for a follow up. 24 hours later, we received the quote that was $60 more than what he told us and it didn’t mention part of the project that was discussed in person. We responded back asking for an explanation as to why it’s more money and less work. Donald told us he would call us to explain. Two days later and we have yet to receive that call. We eventually went with Sewer Shark who provided us a paper quote in full details and is coming out tomorrow to resolve our issue. While the quote received is a few hundred more, the quote was also more detailed and included more work than what Zoom said they’d do. UPDATE: Sewer Shark completed their service today. Once completed, we were notified that the hold that Donald dug, he placed the pile of dirt on top of the white cap clean out pipe, that he searched the yard for. Donald told us that our house didn’t have this, and that he would have to charge us for this. It feels like a scam knowing that Donald likely did not miss this, considering he put the dirt right on top of it. Extremely disappointment with Zoom Drain.

4 plumbers, 2 city inspections, no answers, until today. A WEALTH of knowledge was bestowed upon me today. Donald was extremely patient and answered ALL of my questions, gave sound advice that made complete sense to someone with absolutely no plumbing experience. Calling this company first going forward. Update: Jonathan and AJ were fantastic and got our problem resolved March 2025. Educated and REASSURED me throughout the entire process. Didn't rest until it was resolved.
