My sump pump stopped working and my unfinished basement flooded. When I called and explained the issue the receptionist was very nice, asking detailed questions and scheduled someone to come the next morning. Unfortunately Roby does not do water removal, so the technician couldn’t do anything. I wish that had been communicated on the front end so as not to waste time. Still, Kris provided excellent customer service and scheduled an 3rd party to come pump the water out. When he came back after the weekend, he was very knowledgeable about the equipment we were looking at in my basement. The issue ended up being an external flimsy drain tube sitting on top of the float which was keeping the sump pump from turning on when it filled. It was as simple as lifting the tube and moving it off of the float - problem solved. So, while there was no repair work for Roby to do I felt the $650 price tag was exorbitant for the ~15 minute work of pointing out a simple tube was laying over the float. This does not include the 3rd party cost of having the water removed, which was the real work done. Can’t say enough about the quality and professionalism of the team, and I think that is worth a premium price, but the cost here was far out of line with the service provided. I would be leaving a 5 star review if it were closer to $300-400. Still more than the physical work, but again I appreciate their timeliness, help finding the right 3rd party support, and making the service call and identifying the issue. Great team.

March 2025: Luke Murphy and Seth installed 11 additional gimbal lighting in my home and 3 over the garage door. They were excellent in skill, craftsmanship, and approach to their job! Luke and Seth worked in the home with the upmost care and efficiency. When questions arose, they worked with me to a satisfactory, mutual solution and remained professional the entire time at the site. Kimberly, the office staff team member, did a great job coordinating our work order and answering any questions we had...so appreciative over that! 😁 I have used Roby Services many times in the past and highly recommend them for all your electrical and handy man services. A huge thank you to Luke and Seth for a job well done. Also, a huge thanks to Jake Mackey for coordinating the project and taking care of the technicalities. 😁 August 2024: Jake Mackey came out to home to do a follow up visit on any service needs. He was very professional and addressed concerns with ease. Jake is a great guy to work with and an asset to the Roby Team. We will be following up with Roby in the Fall for lighting needs. Great job, Jake and thank you! March 2024: Roby Service technicians Gus Gaydick and Cody installed 7 Gimbal spot lighting in my dining room. In addition, they replaced all smoke detectors and an outside floodlight. They were on time, worked together harmoniously and did an outstanding job with the install and cleanup. I highly recommend this company for any electrical needs and handyman services for the home. The company is very professional and strive oriented. Thank you again Roby for a great job! May 2023: Roby Handyman Services replaced my screen door and surrounding moulding leading to my back deck. Menson was the carpenter, who did an excellent job installing the new screen door. He worked meticulously and kept his workspace clean. I have used this company exclusively for all electrical and handyman services for the past 5 years. Roby excels in quality customer service and their employees are always courteous and professional. An additional thank you to Josue Palma, the divisional manager who initially came to my home to access the repair, take measurements, and order the parts. Another great job Team Roby! Thank you again and as always...will use you in the future. I highly recommend this company for home services. January 2022: I used Roby Services to install 20 Gimbal spotlights, install outdoor deck light. Matt Barrett was the electrician who service our home. Matt was very courteous and professional. He maintained a "be careful" policy and worked diligently to complete the project on time. We could not be more pleased with our new lights. We have used Roby Services several times in the past and have never been disappointed. In addition to Matt, another electrician, Mark, was on sight to assist Matt with location of joists and wall studs. Great job to both men and thank you, Roby Services for providing the service.

Hire them! We wanted a one-stop shop for everything that we may need at our house. We interviewed some of the best options in CLT and went with Roby. Of course we all say the right thing during the engagement. But Roby backs it up with action. We hired them to install a generator. There was a small issue with the inspection. They immediately came out and fixed it. And guess what. The power is out across our neighborhood right now. But not at our house. We have power because of Roby. We are so very glad we went with them. They are like working with a friend.

This was Adam’s second trip and he was just as delightful as he was the first time. Adam contacted me to let know he was on his way, he arrived and immediately covered his shoes and got to work. We had an interesting conversation while he worked. Adam explained what he was doing, how the alarms worked and what to do if there would be any problems. Everything went smoothly and Adam cleaned up before he left. He is a pleasant, knowledgeable and capable technician and I would he happy to have him do work here again.

Brandon, Robbie, and apprentice Pedro were a pleasure to work with. They arrived on time, maintained communication the day of service, and finished quickly leaving a clean workplace. I am thrilled with my custom vanity that they installed the plumbing on. I appreciate the reminders Kimberly sent.
