Northern Comfort Systems

This is Brad from Butler-Tarkington who has enjoyed a long-term relationship with Northern Comfort for quite some time. I prepaid for a service agreement back in Oct. of 2024. I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff (Owner) before our HVAC purchase in 2018. Past interactions with Giianee, Tom, Mike, and many others were very positive. However, after Northern Comfort missed two A/C tune-up appointments with us (we have an agreement), nobody will respond to us! Two separate phone calls with Alex (5/2) and Cody (5/6) were supposed to result in a manager callback. That didn't happen. Then, emails from 5/2, 5/6, 5/30, and 6/13 have gone unanswered. I also left a message on the "online form" on the web site. I am not sure what is happening, but I sure hope everyone is okay. With a relationship of 12+ years and countless client referrals to Northern...I am very, very puzzled, and we need a resolution. Thank you for the time. I can update this review once we have a resolution or explanation of what is happening...

Website says free estimate. Called to set up an appointment to get a "free estimate" and was informed it would be $150 trip fee that would be taken off bill if we decide to have them do the work. Their definition of Free Estimate differs greatly from mine. Why wouldn't I get multiple quotes.

I have been on their maintenance plan for years now and am always impressed with the attention to detail and no “hard sell” I have had with others. You get an appointment card in the mail and I usually call to reschedule to a more convenient time which is never a problem. You get a reminder call the day before and then a call when the guy is on the way. Appointment is smooth and informative. Great job.

Northern Comfort Systems is the best. Fast response, value priced, with friendly and knowledgeable service techs. Yesterday Tom came for my fall checkup and was efficient, caring, and made sure I knew all that he was doing. I recommend them 1000%

Had an emergency call out in on a Sunday morning. They were here in less than an hour …….. took care of the problem very professionally. Did a little extra work to ensure nothing happened again. The service tech on call (Joe) did a fantastic job. He is an asset to the company…… we have had him for other things such as installing a new furnace and AC. He really knows his sh*t and always goes the extra mile to make sure things are done right. I highly recommend Northern Comfort for any HVAC problem or maintenance issue you may have.
