Technicians were very professional and explained in detail how to maintain the unit for optimal performance. During the installation the technicians answered all my questions and maintained the utmost professionalism. Additionally, the area was fully returned to pre install condition before leaving the work site. I would and have referred Neil Harris to others interested in upgrading/replacing their existing HVAC units. I’m blown away by the amazing services from Neal Harris. Long story short, we moved back to the KC area for our grandkids after being gone 10+ years in Tampa Bay Area. We purchase a 100 year old house in a private lake community with HVAC install 2020. This morning received an email alert, “Because your system is currently showing a “No Heat” or “No Cool” status, your Lennox Smart Thermostat has generated a Service Urgent alert requiring service in 24 to 48 hours.” and the thermostat display “Service urgent-alert code: 200- GF Rollout Limit Switch Open. Being a DIY guy, based on research learned that it was related to furnace flame being extinguished and not relighting and cause related to over heating, air flow restriction from dirty filter, blower fan or equipment failure. Breaking 1918 KC record with -9 temps, the inside temp dropped down to 60 degrees in the house within few hours. After failed attempts of reset and power cycle refer to install sticker and called for service. I called A-1 Sewer and Septic since family related and now has HVAC service could not come out until tomorrow and Neal Harris had technician Anthony B dispatched within 3 hours. Upon arrival, Anthony literally identified the problem within 2 minutes. I was very impressed by his professionalism, knowledge and going the extra mile to educate me and help with app setup with system display panel. Honestly, my only complaint, was paying $300 total for a freaking leaf that got sucked into the air intake pipe into the furnace impeding adequate air flow into the burner. This caused the system to kick off from lack of air intake. I am Impressed by the quick resolution considering the extreme cold weather…even offered veteran discount. Grateful for knowledge of Anthony and quick resolution…besides the $300 leaf issue.
I purchased my house in 2022 and there was a minor issue with my furnace. I called Neal Harris and they came out and the tech stated I should look into getting a new furnace. So they scheduled a meeting with a sales rep. They arrive and tell me they can get me a new furnace and hvac system that will solve one huge problem that I have - which is my third floor is always hot and my lowest floor is extremely cool. That could very well be unavoidable, but that is not what they told me. They assured me they could provide a new system to regular temps far better and not only that, it will lower my utility bills. Neither of this has happened. My utilities have gone up, there has been zero difference nor benefit in having this new system and I'm on the hook for paying $400/month extra now. I have placed several emails and calls and never get any response. I placed a review on here previously and they took it down. They told me to email someone and I did, no response. I followed up and they said someone will contact me shortly from corporate. Still no reply. I currently have had to retain a consumer attorney. It's sad that a company is only interested in the customers who are happy and wish to mute those who have problems. I wish i could rate them lower honestly.
I competitively bid this total Lennox HVAC system replacement for my daughter’s 2000 ft2 home by contacting Neal Harris Heating, AC & Plumbing and one of their competitors (whom was recommended by Costco and included substantial Costco discounts). This was the second time I had reached out to Neal Harris for a system replacement. The first time was in 2018 when they did an awesome job installing a complete new high efficiency Lennox system in my home. The Project Manager (Mr. Chad Phelps) was great to work with and helped assess and confirm the heating/cooling requirements for my daughter’s home. We agreed to upsize the condenser from 2.5 to 3 tons and selected a 2 speed 17 SEER2 unit paired to a 96% efficient 2 stage furnace. Chad price matched the competitor‘s bid (including the Costco savings) which resulted in an additional 15% discount off their original bid. Erick, Lucas and Antonio installed the system quickly and efficiently along with their supervisor Mr. Derek Carter. They put down heavy carpet in the work areas to protect my daughter’s brand-new flooring. When we discovered that the liquid line from the furnace to the condenser was the wrong size, we worked together to route the new copper pipe through an existing duct soffit to avoid sheet-rock replacement in the finished garage. The new system has been in place and running for a week now and my daughter and I feel like we got an excellent value for her money. Kudos to Neal Harris as they are 2 for 2 in my family.
The sales rep, Brad, was awesome. Laid it out straight to us, went over several options for pricing/payments. Their advanced program is a nice benefit for customers when replacing their systems. The install crew was so nice and kept me update on the install process through every step of the way.
