Rubin came out to take a look at our HVAC that wasn't cooling for us in this heat! I'm a very curious person and he let me tag along with him and answered all my questions. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained it in a way that was easy to understand and made the repair efficiently. Very personable and knowledgeable which made me feel confident in the service he provided. All in all, we have a cool home again and had a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend Modern!

I wish there were more stars I could give these guys. Would I recommend them, YES, and 3 times on Sunday. They wired my shed to make it a workshop. The installed gas furnace in my home. They have been super responsive even when the fault is totally mine (I didn't remember how to replace the furnace filter) and laughed along as I was embarrased. Ruben is a joy to work with. So are Jennifer and Brooklyn. They have all gone above and beyond for me. I think I owe them all lunch! 😀

Modern provides a great service. Scheduling was easy. They called ahead when on the way. Arrived on time. Knowledgeable technicians who provided excellent explanation of what they were working on. Good prices and great people.

I'm on my 3rd or 4th review of Modern and I still love them. Zach was my most recent provider - he was great as always. They're always as quick as the job allows, patient with customer concerns/questions/requests, and excellent educators. The office staff has always been excellent to work with as well because they seem to be super on top of everything and very customer-oriented. Always happy to give them money!

I had Zach here to give an estimate for installing some new LED down lights to replace the ugly eyeball can lighting I have now. Edited to add a follow-up. This company was wonderful to work with for my lighting installation. Kurt and his apprentice came on time and spent literally all day here. The plan was for them to install 15 LED ceiling lights, install a replacement ceiling fan and remove the old ceiling fan and fluorescent fixture in my kitchen. They were both very patient, professional, and kind while we worked together to decide where it was best to locate the LED ceiling lights, both in my long living room and in my kitchen. The new lighting gives my home such a warm, cozy, and inviting feeling! It is as if I am outside on a summer day without the heat and UV damage to my skin. My only "issue" is that their ladders caused some scratches and dings in my old Pergo flooring. I would suggest they pad the ladder's feet or keep a floor protector for their next customer's home. We plan to eventually replace our flooring so this isn't a huge issue to us, but if our floors were new, it would have been a costly problem. Aside from that, the installation was professional and looks wonderful. I feel very happy with the resulting look, my experience in working with this company, and the cost to us. We will work with them again in the future when we are ready to get rid of another room's eyeball can lights with these LED lights and move them to a better location.
