Outstanding Service from Michigan Power Rodding – Special Thanks and Recognition to Edwin! Earlier today, Michigan Power Rodding came to my house to inspect an issue with my sump pump discharge pipe, and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of their service. From the moment I called, their team was professional, responsive, and ready to help. What really stood out was the incredible service provided by the plumber they sent out to me. Edwin was prompt, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure the job was done correctly. His attention to detail and dedication to customer service and satisfaction was clear throughout the entire time. He treated my home with care and respect. Edwin also provided me with detailed notes of the work that was completed today, and also provided me with recommendations options. If you’re looking for reliable, efficient, and honest plumbing service, I highly recommend Michigan Power Rodding—and if you can, ask for Edwin. He truly went above and beyond. Spoiler alert: This is a long review - but worth the read: My mom's basement flood with 6 inches of standing water from a clogged drain. Many items stored in the basement were water-logged and ruined. I had used Michigan Power Rodding at my own house for snaking out drains clogged with tree roots and were very happy with their service. So, being a trusted choice we called them for help with my mom's basement. Stephen was the technician that came out to assess the situation and cleared the drain. He was so kind and compassionate and helped me feel at ease about the whole situation. I was at a loss for what to do about the tremendous amount of items that needed to be removed and/or be disposed of, water extracted out, and cleaning to prevent mold from forming. While speaking with Stephen I mentioned I needed to call a company to do the clean out of the basement. Little did I know that Michigan Power Rodding also did Restoration Services! Stephen quickly reached out to his supervisors, Owner Greg and Operations Manager Adam, who came out to look at the situation, and give us an estimate for them to do the restoration. Let me tell you, to say this was a big job is an understatement. We needed a lot of help. I couldn't possibly do all of the clean out work by myself. The quote the team gave was very reasonable for the type of job that needed to be done. More importantly than that, every member of the team that helped us from start to finish (shout outs to Stephen, Greg, Adam, Chris, Eric and Tommy - sorry if I missed anyone else who helped) were amazingly understanding, considerate, and extraordinarily kind and compassionate. They put me at 100% ease and I trusted them 1000% with this humongous job! All of these men are the real-deal, with a strong sense of character, a hard work-ethic, and the highest integrity. If you find ourself in this same type of situation, I whole-heartedly recommend the team at Michigan Power Rodding for the job.

Had a drain plug that I couldn’t remove. Called and literally in hours a technician arrived, assessed the issue and got to work. Justin was efficient and professional. He cleaned the area upon completion and also gave me a lot of preventative information as well as insight into the plumbing structure and sizing. Not incredibly overpriced for services but well worth the issue at hand and peace of mind.

Michigan Power Rodding exemplifies everything you hope for in a small local business. Our sewer line in Ann Arbor backed up last year and they were able within 24 hours to clear it out, despite the fact that our cleanout access was a wee bit rusty and grumpy about being opened. So grateful! Fast forward one year later... our house is for sale. Inspector does not want to mess around with cleanout access because of the aforementioned issue..... MI Power Rodding sent out a crew FOR FREE to enable access. My word, they go above and beyond. And every time we have called, we have talked to a delightful person.... they continue to help us out every time reach out. As a professional in the construction industry, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Tony was great. He was super polite and professional. He explained everything along the way so that I, as a homeowner, understood the situation. I felt the price was fair, certainly considering my need, which was sewage backing up into my basement. With so much inflation these days, it's nice to know a company isn't ruining people's trust in humanity. 😂 I will use MPR again in the future, if needed.
