Mechanical Energy Systems

Our house was built in 1898. We were having problems securing homeowners insurance this year because the electrical system had never been adequately updated. Tony came to the. house to assess the system and to recommend an appropriate course of action to bring the house to current code. Stephen, Malachi, and at times others worked to install a new 200 amp panel and to replace old wiring as needed. They were always polite, communicative, and careful in what was an obviously challenging situation. The work took 5 days and came in under the reasonable bid we had been given. Kudos to the entire team for a fantastic job. We would highly recommend MES!!

Zach tended to my home air conditioner which was not working for a few days in a very hot July 2025. He arrived on Monday afternoon after my Sunday call to the company’s phone number. The company responded either Sunday evening or Monday morning and explained that a technician would be assigned as soon as one was available, hopefully Monday afternoon. As promised, the tech arrived and introduced himself early Monday PM. He went to work on my 20 year old system, isolated the problem, explained the pros and cons of repairing an older unit, with my consent ordered a part from a nearby wholesaler, went to pick it up, returned, and fixed my AC. When I got the invoice, I called the company to say that I wanted to tip Zach. The receptionist thanked me, but said the company does not allow tipping. I have since read the rationale for a company discouraging tipping, and I learned something new. I am absolutely so impressed with Mechanical Energy Systems and Zach. Thanks to ownership, management and Zach! I will definitely tell others about this impressive experience.

Had new lighting installed. Everything turned out fantastic! I highly recommend Mechanical Energy. They are very professional, neat, and clean. The project was completed quickly and was very thoroughly done.

I contracted with MES to rewire a residential rental property. The staff was timely, professional and very responsive. The installers were great to work with! They collaborated well to find solutions while on-site. Invoicing was timely and didn't deviate from the quote. It was also nice that the electric installers could coordinate with MES colleagues regarding plumbing and HVAC work (to be completed later).
