Our hot water heater broke during the cold snap. Madison Plumbing replaced it quickly and efficiently. The technicians were friendly, knowledgeable and just outstanding overall and answered all our questions. And their price was 50% cheaper than one of the competitors in town too. We highly recommend Madison Plumbing. Very pleased with the service we received here.

Madison Plumbing was the original plumber on our new construction home about 5 years ago. They did many homes in our community. On July 3rd, I could hear hissing coming from the bathroom wall where the shower is located and is adjacent to our daughters bedroom. I called out Around the Clock plumbing that cut a hole into the drywall and discovered the mess of piping shown in the photo. How this passed county inspection is beyond me. Clearly visible is the crooked attachments that caused stress to the area. Total damage costs are approx. $2500.00 (carpet, baseboard, painting, drywall and plumber). The 2nd photo shows the off-center emergency shut-off valve which is so far off that the water was unable to be shut when I discovered the leak. This is a violation of Alabama plumbing codes and shows additional poor sloppy workmanship. I spoke to someone 2 days ago and I am still waiting for someone to fix the in-ground emergency shut-off valve. I will be calling the county building dept. for an inspection on the hatch and possibly an attorney to seek reimbursement for the insurance claim we needed to make. Once I saw the terrible work on the shower pipe, I may decide to have another plumber scope the walls for any other possible issues. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

This company is hit or miss with quality of work but I will never use them again. they have done work for me twice; the first time was fine - quick response to a fractured line from the water meter and the work was well done. The technician was obviously seasoned. The second time was a scheduled appointment for a water heater replacement. The two techs that showed up didn't seem to know what they were doing and turns out, they didn't. Problem 1) as soon as they left water started shooting out of the wall, destroying the drywall and flooding the garage floor. Called back and a few hours later they showed up to "fix it". They switched the copper pipe out for PEX and just left the old copper sticking out of the giant hole in the drywall. Problem 2)They left the ground wire off of the unit. Problem 3) they left the electrical wire fully exposed. Problem 4) water heaters are supposed to be on a stand in the garage, they just set this on the floor - no pan - nothing. Problem 5) Expansion tank was improperly installed. Problem 6) Pipes were not insulated. Now I am left having to drop another grand for someone who knows what they are doing to bring this to code and fix their issues. Do yourself a favor, call a more professional service.

Wednesday night hot water heater just stopped working, called Madison Plumbing about 8:30 Thursday morning for a quote to replace, arrived at 10:00, gave us quote. It is now Friday morning, water heater installed, arrived on time and installed. We have used them for a smaller repair that was flawless also. Highly recommend Madison Plumbing.

Had a problem with a sewer line and a quickly approaching wedding party at the house! Well a call to Madison Plumbing services Inc and the problem was solved. Bobby our plumber was outstanding! Truly a master of his craft! Attention to detail and just carrying about doing a great job resulted in a 10 out of 10! Thanks for the fast response and an outstanding job!
