I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Len the Plumbing Heating and Air to help others make informed decisions. On Saturday, August 2, I contacted Len regarding a shower issue I had diagnosed as a cartridge problem. I was impressed that they were able to send a technician out the same day—same-day service is a rarity and much appreciated. However, what seemed like a straightforward job quickly became complicated. The repair took several hours and cost $549. During the process, the shower handle screw broke and had to be drilled out. I understand that things happen—I’m reasonable about that. The technician explained the situation and assured me that Len would follow up to fix the broken handle. I was told I’d receive a call later that day to schedule the follow-up for Monday. That’s where the frustration began. I called Len multiple times to confirm the appointment, and each time I was told someone would call me back. No one did—until after several follow-ups on my end. I’m not asking for much, just a scheduled time so I can plan around work and be home to let the technician in. Eventually, I was told they could come between 2–5 PM. It was already 1 PM, so I rushed home. Then I received a call saying the technician wouldn’t be coming and I’d need to reschedule. I did—for Thursday. The technician arrived but didn’t have the part and said he needed to take pictures of the shower handle. Why that wasn’t done during the initial visit is beyond me. Another day off work, and still no repair. He told me I’d get a call to schedule the installation. I told him not to bother giving me an estimated time—given their track record, I didn’t trust they’d stick to it. I just asked to be contacted when the part arrived, since he made it sound like getting it was a challenge. That skepticism was justified. I was scheduled for an 8–11 AM window today, received a text two hours ago saying the technician was on the way—and still, no one has arrived. I called the office and got the usual response: “Someone will call you back.” I’ve now wasted multiple days, taken time off work, and spent $549 for a repair that remains incomplete. My mistake was trusting this company and paying upfront. I’m disappointed not only in the service but in the lack of communication and accountability. I hope this review helps others avoid the same experience. Update: More than an hour after my scheduled appointment window, I had to call for an update myself. I was told someone had attempted to reach me, which is demonstrably false—I’ll be enclosing a screenshot of my phone showing no missed calls or voicemails. It’s frustrating enough to receive no proactive communication, but being told something that’s simply untrue adds insult to injury. I was then assured I’d receive a call back.
I had an awesome experience with Brandon B from Len the Plumber. He quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed the kitchen faucet in no time. This veteran also is thankful for the 10% discount. Thanks again for a great customer experience and fantastic communication.
Christian did a beautiful job. He replaced the old main gate valve, added a flush out pipe and gate valve , then added a second ball valve to create a chamber to flush debris from the pipes coming into the house. He was efficient, pleasant, considerate and once he completed the work, he waited patiently for 2 hours for the water company to come and turn on the water so that he could flush the pipes and test his work. Highly recommend.
I hired this company to fix a gas leak at the meter. After a quick call, a plumber showed up on time, and gave me a quote which sounded high, (~$900) but I agreed, not gonna mess around with a gas leak. However, after the plumber poked around for a minute, he told me he didn't have what he needed to fix it...so much for same day service. I paid a $200 deposit to "hold an appointment". the next morning (8–11), but the plumber didn’t arrive until 1 PM. A little before 1pm, I called, and dispatch promised me he was "still coming". Dispatch eventually admitted he didn’t even start his day until 9:30 and was coming from well over an hour away. I was frustrated, but it's not the plumbers fault. They set him up to fail. There was no possible way he could have made it on time, which made the deposit completely worthless and misleading. Eventually the job was completed, but my property was damaged. I noticed overspray from paint on the side of my house and elsewhere. On top of that, the final invoice included a SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLAR charge for "access issues" and a second person. Neither of which were needed or present. We're talking about work on a gas meter with wide open outdoor access. Attempts to get a supervisor to call me back went unanswered. Overall, I’m wildly dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism, the misleading charges, and the poor communication. Thanks for not blowing my house up, which is the best thing I can say about my experience.
Called Len The plumber company for a water leak on my HVAC system. This is a reoccurring problem with the water drain getting clogged which was explained to me by Scott Marshall. First I would like to extend my gratitude to Scott he did a phenomenal job and went above and beyond for us. Installing a new smart drain which will trip the HVAC unit until cleaned and he was through with explaining our options for the issue and how to maximize the call with Len The plumbing company through a membership that’s no like the others. If you are having issues with HVAC I would highly recommend them over the others in the area. I have tried a few other companies but had bad experience. Again thank you Scott!!
