We had such a wonderful experience when we had Gregg Dale from Horizon come to help us with a plumbing issue! He diagnosed a water leak from our upstairs bathroom through our ceiling below. His professionalism and friendly nature was a warm welcome. It was nice he explained and showed us his findings and is a valuable asset to Horizon!!
I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Horizon. During this intense heat wave, we reached out to them for urgent repairs, as we have seniors in the household who are especially vulnerable to high temperatures. After they assessed the situation, they assured us that parts were ordered and would arrive soon. However, days have passed, and we have received no updates from the company. The silence has been incredibly frustrating, as we are left without any cooling system during a critical time. What’s even more concerning is that they haven't even communicated a timeline for when the parts will arrive or when we can expect repairs. We’ve called multiple times and sent emails, only to be met with vague responses and no clear answers. As a company that advertises itself as reliable, it’s unacceptable to leave your customers in the dark, especially when they’re dealing with urgent and health-related issues. This lack of communication and poor customer service is unacceptable, and I strongly urge Horizon to improve their customer service, especially when the well-being of vulnerable individuals is at stake. I’ll be looking for other options to address this issue moving forward. Would not recommend. Please provide contact information Horizon and I will provide you with the information.
I’ve used Horizon several times including just recently for a new hot water heater. Tim was very professional and efficient. (And a nice guy). Request him if you can👍 I will continue to use Horizon for the inevitable future plumbing/etc issues we will encounter at our house
We had a leaking shower head so called Horizon. When I scheduled, I was told it would be $89 to diagnose the problem. The technician showed up on time and was really professional, however, after he diagnosed the issue, he told us it would be $89, plus and additional $30. We asked him what the extra $30 was for and he said it was for diagnosing the problem....so what was the $89 for??? After my husband explained to him that Horizon said nothing to us about an additional $30 , the Technician said that he has "often run into this with customers and wished Horizon would be more clear in telling customers about this extra $30." So he was attempting to charge us $120 just for telling us what was causing our shower head to leak. After my husband and I pushed back on this extra charge, the technician said he would just charge us the $89 and would call Customer Service himself to report that we had not been told about the additional $30. When I called Horizon Customer Service myself I was told that they had no idea what I was talking about, that they only charge $89 to come out and diagnose. I explained what happened and the Customer Service Rep said she didn't see what my problem was since the Technician only charged me the $89. I told her the only reason he didn't was because we pushed back on it and Horizon should want to know that one of their technicians is attempting to charge customers an additional fee. She was very non chalant - so I guess Horizon doesn't care that their technicians are out there attempting to add additional fees to jobs and claiming it's something Horizon "forgets to tell Customer about"?? That's okay to be happening with your company?? So be careful if you choose to use Horizon.....we sure won't be using them again for anything with this type of shady business going on.
All of a sudden our [very old] faucet stopped working properly and we knew further use would cause damage, so we called Horizon. I was shocked that they scheduled us in immediately. I was only expecting one technician, but two arrived. They were very friendly, and soon learned the second man was in training. We were quoted a crazy amount for labor, new faucet, and replacement. But, my husband ran to the store to get a replacement from Lowes which cut the price in half. Seemed ridiculous to spend so much money on just a faucet since we are renovating in a few months anyway. But they were able to replace it for us before they even left (also very surprising that we didn’t have to be rescheduled like other plumbing companies will do). We’ve been on and off customers of Horizon since 2014, and it’s nice to see that they are just as kind and efficient as they were nearly 10 years ago.
