We were extremely pleased with the prompt and professional service we recently received from Hander Plumbing. They responded within one day to our online request for service to repair a leaky kitchen sink drain and the ultimate replacement thereof. Their plumber’s knowledge and experience in removing and replacing existing drain stacks and supply lines in our 90-year-old home was particularly impressive. He readily explained all aspects of the project in response to our inquiries including cost of labor, materials, etc. Work was accomplished in less than a day, and having Hander do the work was a pleasure.

I called on Wednesday of this week for a hot water heater replacement and had a representative sent to my location on Thursday morning. The gentleman I talked to on Wednesday was great! Explaining the various options I was considering and offering me different choices. Jacob was the young man that was sent to me for our replacement. Jacob was very thorough and explained the process and set about his work. He called me down shortly after he arrived to tell me that my diagnosis was incorrect. I did not have a failure of my heater but a failure in my pressure expansion tank! What was going to be a several thousand dollar expenditure was about to be a couple hundred. Considering my call with the service advisor the day before, I knew I was living on borrowed time with my current heater and elected to go ahead with the replacement (my luck it would have failed in a couple of months and I would have relived the whole flooded basement scenario which I would avoid at all costs!). The work was concluded in a very timely manner, the work area was left cleaner than when Jacob arrived, he presented me an accurate bill, explained the various functions, and hauled away my old and defective parts! I have been a long time Hander customer and it is because of service like this, both on the phone and the personnel they send for calls, that will keep me one for the foreseeable future. Our pipes started groaning out of the blue. I was concerned when several days passed without response to my on-line service request. But after I called, a technician arrived the following day. He diagnosed the problem, had the right part in his truck and completed the fix in less than 2 hours. I was impressed with his professionalism and service orientation. This is our 3rd experience with Hander, and we highly recommend them.
