While the service was prompt (within two of first contact), I didn't feel heard about the AC issues I was having. Instead of listening how my system had worked great for 7+ years, the kid was ready to sign me up for a redo of my entire second floor ducts and relocate the thermostat. As a back-up, I could opt for a mini-split - essentially adding a unit to the wall of my upscale home with "little eye-sore." I tried to explain that everything had been fine for a long time, despite the limitation the thermostat location posed, and needed to point out several cold air returns that were missed on his assessment of why it wasn't working well. They then charged me nearly $1000 to clean two blowers - a cost I am now told was exorbitant. I felt I was forced into this decision since it was going to cost a lot more to do either of the other options and that it would also be more expensive if I were to think about it and have them come back another time. In the "heat" of the moment, I decided this was the best option, since I knew my system had been sufficient and didn't need a complete ductwork overhaul. After calling another company a couple of weeks later, I found out the capacitors were bad in both my units, something GRapids never even checked. Additionally, there was excessive debris in the units that simply needed to be sprayed out - also not assessed and easily remedied. Both units are now working more efficiently at a fraction of the cost charged by Grapids.

Everyone is nice and the service fee was reasonable. BUT!!! The technician seemed like he didn't want to do any work. He said he couldn't do anything until I get the lid off the septic tank. I dug it out and got to the lid and there's no tabs to pick it up with so he said he couldn't do anything. I have a clog somewhere. That's why I had them out. Needless to say I still have a clog. Plenty of places to get into the plumbing but he (can't) do anything. And I still had to pay him for a service call even though he didn't do anything but cry about how he couldn't do anything. My wife took time off work to be there. And I had to stop working at my job to go home and dig up my septic. Also it says same day service but I had to wait 2 days for service just to not have my problem fixed. So now my wife or I have to take another day off to get someone out there that wants to do the work. Not impressed at all. I'm a service technician for a water purification company so I know what it's all about. I definitely won't be recommending this company. Sorry but your technician screwed up this time. I could do the work myself if i had time and the equipment to do it. But that doesn't matter. I was paying for someone to do it so I didn't have to deal with it. Anyways, not happy good luck people

From start to finish, setting up appointment to installation all went quickly and smooth. Sam and Austin called day of installation to give ETA and there when expected. Friendly efficient and respectful of my home. The guys kept me updated on what they were doing made sure I understood the changes. Cleaned up everything before leaving and confirmed I didn’t have any other questions. I was happy with all help from Seth coming out originally, the guy who helped me with purchasing what I needed never hiding any costs. And of course again Austin and Sam for earning their pay today with hard work!

Kevin came out and did a thorough assessment of why my ac wasn’t working. He came up with two different price points to fix it and explained both options. He was able to fix it that day for a lot less than other companies had quoted me. I appreciate the great work that was done and how it saved me money.

A1 class operation from initial phone call inquiry to technician completing the plumbing job to my total satisfaction. Tech was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I was informed of what needed to be done to complete the job with pricing options for me to decide. Couldn't be happier and highly recommend.
