He explained how the inspection and quote would work, and was able to schedule someone to come out on Sunday. Julian and the plumber Brantley called before arriving for the inspection. The quote was fair and much better than the big companies you see advertised. Brantley came back to replace the water heater, copper piping, and flex pipe for both hot and cold lines, and also swapped out the old gate valve with a ball valve for better shut off. Julian followed up by text to make sure everything was working fine. The old water heater couldn't drain because it was clogged, so Brantley and Malachi returned to remove and properly drain it. The new water heater fits better—it's taller but not as wide, leaving extra space around the tank. The work was done neatly, and now I have hot water running even better than before. I definitely recommend this plumbing team in Austin for any plumbing needs. I'll be calling them again since I prefer doing electrical work myself!
