Great experience from the start to the finish! Cape Fear's team leader, Josh, was extremely helpful, accessible, and always addressed all my concerns to find me the best HVAC possible for my home. His install team, technician, and inspection supervisor were all very courteous, responsive, knowledgeable and professional. In the end I have a great HVAC! The only thing I would recommend is to follow up with Trane manufacturer regarding the accuracy of the Trane thermostat, sometimes it varies a couple of degrees from the real inside temp and therefore periodically over cools. Overall, working with Cape Fear HVAC has been wonderful and I highly recommend! I love my new HVAC!

We just had our 17 year old systems replaced in October 2024 by Cape Fear. Josh P. was our rep and he was extremely knowledgeable. He helped us find the best units for our home, showed up each day during install to answer questions, and followed up multiple times after installation just to make sure we were happy and not having any issues. Today we had our 6-month checkup and Bobby C. was our technician. He was polite, asked great questions, and tuned the system to make it just a little more efficient. A great company with great people…we highly recommend Cape Fear!

Cape Fear came recommended by a neighbor in Lochmere (east Cary area) and I see why. Easy booking and arrived the same day right at the scheduled time. Bobby C. Was able to take care of the issue right away. Fair pricing. I’ll be using them again.

We have always had positive experiences with Cape Fear--they did our HVAC installation in 2020 and we have been very pleased with the work they did. They are also super responsive--Bobby came out the same day when we had a gas problem from a faulty regulator (which was original to when the house was built, *not* installed by them). He did a careful and super complete inspection to ensure he knew how to fix our issues and then came back the next day and really took the time to ensure that our whole system was thoroughly tuned up and clean in addition to installing the new regulator. Bobby was super knowledgeable and helpful when guiding us through the problem and fix--he definitely made the whole process much easier and we really appreciated his attention to detail.
