After 25 years of use, I had to replace my vacuum breaker assembly. I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and asked them to help me with installing a new unit. I purchased a brand new one off Amazon, so I only needed them for the install. Mike Brown did a fantastic job at a fair price. They also performed the test that went to the city that showed the unit was doing its job. Thanks again for the quick turnaround! Pictures are the old unit and the new one. The thing that stood out to me the most was the quality of the install. The last one was a bit crooked. This one is level and looks amazing.

Cody was a great plumber. He was very friendly and polite. He worked hard to fix our clogged kitchen sink pipe, and he did a great job. I appreciate his work ethic and skill. I would highly recommend him to others.

Cody addressed my concerns and corrected the issue in a timely manner. He was knowledgeable, professional and efficient. We recently called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for a simple repair at our Michigan property. Dustin, the technician, was on time, friendly, and professional. Our tenant had already diagnosed the problem, pulled out the dishwasher and even purchased one of the parts to be replaced. This is going to be an easy fix. What surprised and disappointed us was the final bill: $450. The valve cost $12.48, and the braided line (which didn’t need replacement) was $19.98 should we have bought that at Home Depot. We were told the flat-rate pricing broke down as $300 for the valve and line, plus $150 to replace a small plastic part we supplied and slide the dishwasher back in place. Even after raising our concerns, the company only offered a $50 discount. We had used Benjamin Franklin a few months ago for a leaking washing machine pipe and found their pricing fair, which is why we called them back. Unfortunately, this experience was very different. This was a simple repair—something my husband or I could have done ourselves in 20 minutes for under $50 in parts had we lived close, but our hands were tied. While the technician did a good job and was courteous, the cost was excessive and unfair. After this experience, we will not be using Benjamin Franklin again. We hope the company reconsiders their flat-rate approach, as it can leave customers feeling taken advantage of for simple repairs. I gave it two stars because the job was done as asked, but I feel they gouge their customers.

Cody and Chase did any amazing job. They called to let me know they were on the way and even arrived a little early. They were polite, clean and very knowledgeable. The repairs were reasonably priced and done quickly. Will definitely call again. Highly recommended!
