I called and scheduled an appointment to have my AC looked at. I explained to them that there was reduced air flow and that the system did not seem to be cooling. The service tech showed up and quickly found ice on the evaporator coil. He told me that he couldn't properly diagnose the issue with ice on the coil and would have to come back another time. He was very friendly. He charged me for the service call. All of this was fine. The problem for me was that he told me that if he came out there again he would charge me for a service call a second time. I would think that it would be a continuation of the first service call since nothing happened to fix my issue. If the guy on the phone had told me that ice was a possibility and that it would be better to not run the AC and have the guy come out tomorrow I would have likely done that. I will be going to someone else to fix my issue. I gave three stars because the technician himself was very courteous and I understand that he didn't set the company policy. Edit: I initially rated three stars. The company was quick to get on here and say that someone would contact me. So far they have not. It seems as if they just care about the appearance of customer service instead of actual customer service. Dropped rating to one star accordingly.
I got a water filtration system installed back in November 2023 due to extremely hard water and health reasons. I was told for my first year I would not be charged for any service regarding the water filtration system. After a few months of use I called to get some more salt. The guy came out replaced the salt and checked the water and everything was working normally. As he was leaving he told me I owed $399 for the service and I told him I had the first year free and he called and verified that and went on his way. About a month later I get an email with an invoice for that same service saying I owed $399 so I called airco to speak about this. After a couple call backs they finally verified that it was a mistake and they would take it off my account. This continued to happen 2 more times, each about a month apart. After I was told for the 3rd time disregard that invoice I didn't end up hearing anything for a couple months until I got a voicemail from Cathy saying I owed on this yet again and was also told from someone else that I couldn't get any service until this invoice was payed. Due to health issues I just ignored this matter until I was in a place to deal with it. Last week I called to once again try to resolve this issue because I got the same invoice from May 2024 and my water filtration system needs maintenance badly. I asked to speak with Cathy since she was the one who left me the voicemail. After explaining what was going on she said she would call me back. Didn't hear anything Monday, or Tuesday so Wednesday I call back and clearly I was forgotten about. I then get asked why I'm disputing an invoice after I've explained myself time and time again... So I'm told give her a few minutes and she will call me back.. I don't get a call back until Friday afternoon and it's some other guy asking why I'm disputing this invoice. After explaining myself for the 100th time he says the invoice issue is taken care of and scheduled me service for maintenance a week later. Also when my filtration system was installed the guy needed to get in my closet to switch something with the water lines and they took out my baseboards to one side of closet and just left them without putting anything back. They were just sat up against the wall with nails sticking out and everything. As a paying customer I feel extremely let down and this issue should have been resolved the first time it happened. The fact it's been well over a year since my filtration system got installed and I'm still dealing with this is ridiculous. I don't understand why I was denied service due to something that was your fault. My water now has visible white calcium build up and my appliances that use water aren't working as well due to that.
The guys that put in our new AC and Furnance worked hard all day in the heat. Did a wonderful job, very polite and informative.
Called on a Saturday afternoon. My air was blowing but not cold, fan running outside. They told me it would be a $99 diagnostic fee but that would apply to the bill. Tech came out and I told him I’ve had this in the past and it was a capacitor. He went to the unit and said yes, that’s what it is. He told me the bill would be over $500 to repair. $540 I believe. I said why so much. He replied this is a special capacitor. I had no choice at this point. He took out the capacitor, changed it and left. 15 minutes total time. He threw away the capacitor box in my trash. I grabbed the box and searched it. It was a common capacitor that was even in stock at Ace Hardware. The cost was $12. So for a $12 capacitor, 15 minutes of work and the $99 diagnostic fee, I was charged over $500. Beware if you use this company. The immediate service review received a comment that someone would reach out. That was about a month ago. No word yet.
Super impressed! Reached out through Lowe's on Tuesday and had my water heater and softener installed by Thursday. They were all very friendly and seemed to offer a fair price (received a few quotes from different places)
