I had a serious plumbing issue and went through 3 different companies before, and none of them could find where the leak was coming from. Tom showed up, and within 30 minutes he found the problem and fixed it. He is highly skilled, reliable, sets appointments quickly, and clearly knows what he’s doing. Tom, with Tom the Plumber, did a fantastic job! He not only fixed the things I contacted him about but he took the time to teach me what he was doing so I could learn. He also went above and beyond ensuring little things were checked to make the entire sink work not just repair the drip. Highly recommend his company!

Tom plumbed a new half bath for us under a stairway that is smack dab in the middle of our house. He provided an itemized estimate and explanation of the timing and expectations to bring it to completion. Turns out the hardest part was venting it (necessary for smooth flushes and water to drain) which he tackled first. The one piece toilet was tricky too, a left over from another job. The other contractor had been unable to install it despite dry fitting it repeatedly and having a completely blank canvass to start with. Again, he will tackle things that others might simply give up on or offer less desirable solutions. He remedied the spiderweb of plumbing left by a myriad of past plumbers, who had attempted to fix by creating workarounds but which still had our kitchen and mud room sink backing up constantly. Things now flow smoothly. He fixed numerous disasters left by shoddy contractors. His word is as good as a contract, but you will get one of those too, and he will explain exactly what he did in language you can understand.

Our kitchen sink was clogged and it clogged suddenly. Tom came out the same day we called. He was courteous of our house making sure he did not make any messes. Upon getting inside, he immediately started to map out where the drains went. Turns out we had an issue with grease. Tom was able to pull the grease plug, not once, but 3 - 4 times as the pipes were apparently, completely clogged. Our sink is now flowing well. During his time here, at no point did Tom ever get frustrated, upset, nor did he give up. He spent a few hours working the pipes out to the main. He has a "can do" attitude and did not stop until that sink was flowing proper. The prices he charges are fair and up front and at no time did I ever feel like he was trying to up sell me or add surprise costs. It was all quoted ahead of the work and given to me to accept. I would recommend Tom the Plumber to anyone.

Tom was prompt, professional, and answered my questions. Great work. He also put in a new gas line. Definitely will call him for any plumbing needs. I highly recommend him.
