The plumbers that came out were nice but because they seen that I was frantic and really in need I feel I was taken advantage of. I have a small sink in my bathroom and the plumber told me that he could fix my sink for $400. I then ran to atm while they began fixing it. Upon doing so I trusted the men in my house because I live alone and had just come from the hospital. By time I got back they were already done with the sink. Its a really small sink. I then asked could I take a bird bath because I can't use the tub? The plumber said no. He said that he found another leak. I stated that why would you charge me $400 for something that I can't use. He stated that he needed to wait for the pipes to unfreeze. Fast forward to last week the new people who are working on my house turned on the water and the pipe that THE PLUMBING WORKS supposedly fixed was spaying all over. When I called the company and asked why is this happening they then said because the pipe that they fixed is compensating for the other side. So they fixed a product that was doomed to fail. In there desperate attempt to take advantage who obviously knew nothing about plumbing and was in desperate need. This was is the wrong way of doing business. It should be stopped. They should come fix my sink like they said when I gave them the money. So they are trying to charge me almost $1000 for a small sink and I mean its really small. I wish you guys could see this.
I cannot express enough how wonderful it was to work with The Plumbing Works. We needed to have our main sewer line replaced which required a few days of work. Dan and his team were excellent! They were always on time, courteous, and clean. They were constantly communicating what they were doing, where we were in the process, and asking questions as needed. I also spoke with Lisa, the office manager, quite a few times, and she was always so sweet, understanding, and helpful! In a highly stressful situation, they made it as easy as possible. I will be recommending them to any one needing plumbing work moving forward.
My sump pump started to keep running with no water plus smoking. This was when we had gotten the 2" of rain and it was supposed to rain more. I Googled plumbers near me and it brought up The Plumbing Works. I called, the lady who answered the phone was extremely nice. She sent 2 experts out to my home same day. I was given 2 options : put in same kind I had which was on small size, or dig a bigger hole and put in a bigger one with warranty and will last much, much longer for 4,300. I couldn't believe it but they actually waited for me to contact my homeowners to see if that would be better, it wouldn't. In the meantime they left. I decided to go with the bigger one and they have payment plans which we qualified for 12%, I know right, so low and 65.67 payments for, get this 120 months! Longer than a car. Of course we'll have it paid off before then. So, Ryan came back next morning, with a helper, and it took maybe 4 hours. And this one has a lid, my other one didn't. And this one is so quite, which my son loves due to it being in his apartment. Since I had my basement flood 2x I had a floating floor put in last time so the water goes under floor right to sump pump. If anyone is in need of a plumber, for any reason at all definitely call The Plumbing Works. Excellent service!
Had a great experience with The plumbing works! Had older pipes in a newly purchased home, they supplied options of the work I needed and they were able to get our dishwasher working again! Dylan and Dan were very nice, courteous, and efficient. Will definitely use them again if we need anymore work done. Thanks again!
Everything was good, except the price. I needed same day service for an under kitchen sink drain pipe which had corroded thru and was leaking badly. They came out very promptly, technician was friendly and capable. He replaced the drain parts with plastic so they should not corrode again. Total job took about 2 hours including picking up parts at supply house. Bill was $1100.00. Parts were likely $100 labor $1000. I understand that there are more expenses than just the time at the job site but this is a ghastly price for relatively simple work. If you really need it done fast be prepared to pay.
