Akeem with Star Plumbing came to install a Kohler toilet we purchased. He did an excellent job. I purchased a supply line that was too short, but he had the correct size supply line on his truck and switched it at no charge. He discovered that the water turn off value to the toilet didn't work, he gave us a price to replace it. In addition, he discovered that the back flow device in the basement should have been replaced 20 years ago according to the WSSC tag. He gave us a price to replace it. Since he had the special license, he was able to replace it and put a new WSSC tag on it to be replaced in 5 years. Lastly, the next day the brand new toilet was continuing to run after flush. I called Akeem and he came out the same day and replaced the defective part in the brand new toilet at no charge! For both appointments, he was on time and kept his word. If it weren't for Akeem, we would not have known about the back flow device issue. We have had several plumbers over the years and no one pointed that out to us except Akeem. Akeem took care of all the issues. We are grateful that he brought these additional issues to our attention and Akeem completed them all in one day! Thank you Akeem!

Toilet leak today, sump pump repair in the past… I’ve been using Akeem Tijani for all my plumbing needs and recently started referring him to my clients and friends. He is always prompt, calls ahead when he is en route, communicates clearly and of course does a great job at a reasonable price. Skip the big companies that charge you for their overhead and call Akeem - he is a licensed and insured MASTER plumber who takes his work seriously.

He came within 20 minutes of me calling and fixed the problem after about 5. Incredibly fast and efficient work, and he was incredibly nice as well. Will be calling again for issues in the future! Highly recommend.
