Standard Drain Cleaning

We had an emergency situation last week with sewage backing up in the basement. Standard Drain came to our rescue and responded to our after-hours callback request very quickly. They rearranged their schedules and sent the right equipment and personnel to our door. I highly recommend Standard Drain for their fast and professional service. Their staff is knowledgeable, and their prices are fair. I hope we never have to deal with a clogged sewer line again, but if we do, I will definitely call Standard Drain.

Kyle took care of a clogged drain and was very knowledgeable about other plumbing issues that might cause problems in the future. I appreciated his insight and, that I was able to get an appointment within a day and he was early! I will definitely recommend this company to family and friends.

We had a clog in our kitchen drain rear its head very violently and suddenly and of course every plumbing and drain company was pretty booked out. After contacting Kyle, he slotted us into his already busy schedule at the last moment. While addressing the issue, he and Levi went 100% above and beyond what I could have expected. They cleared our drain and even updated our 1950s era plumbing without hesitation and for a lot less than I expected. I couldn't recommend these guys highly enough! Super great to work with, professional, honest, and very skilled. Go with Standard, you won't be disappointed.

I chose to schedule a septic tank pumping with this business based on the stellar Google reviews. I spoke with Kyle on the phone and he got me scheduled for last Monday, November 7th. When that day came, he and his team did not show up and did not call me to let me know they weren't coming. I called him multiple times that day and left a message. I never heard back. I called him multiple times throughout that week and never reached him, always getting his voicemail. To date, he has never called me back. I will not trust this company in the future for any other projects. Luckily I was able to get scheduled with another company in town.

Basement drain backed up on 1/7/24. Was told I should have someone come out and scope my drains/pipes to check for blockages. Contacted this company. Young man that came out on 1/11/24 didn't scope anything, but did see that our septic tank was full and indicated he thought it wasn't draining properly and the company's "septic guy" would need to come out to see if that was the issue. I was already into this for a service call fee, so went ahead and told him to send him out.They came out the next week, around 1/16/24, and emptied our 1,000 gallon tank and said we should probably think about locating the second cap to make sure there wasn't any blockage to the drain field. My husband and I thought we would wait until March to do that so the ground might start thawing - there's only the two of us, so with an empty tank, we thought that wouldn't be too risky. Last night, the basement drain was once again backed up. That leads me to believe there is a problem in the pipe leading out of the house to the tank but since no one ever scoped that - as requested - we didn't know that. Now I have to contact someone else to come out and fix the issue AND call the remediation company - AGAIN - to come out and do the clean up. To top it off, when first quoted a price for the work we would have had done in March, I was told it would probably be less than $1,200, but when I followed up by text, it jumped to $2,000.
