Seattle Drain Service was one of several contractors I contacted to prepare bids on a new footing drain for the uphill side of my Mercer Island house. After consulting with the contractors, I decided to postpone the footing drain construction to better observe the small amount of water intrusion in my home. While he was here, Bryce (the owner of Seattle Drain Service) used his drain pipe camera and ground radar equipment to diagnose any problems with the drainage from the closest downspout. He discovered that the drainage was not working and water was collecting underground near the house. I was impressed with his knowledge and experience, so I hired him to install a new drainage line to the street. He performed the work in a competent and workmanlike manner, and the new drain line works fine. I recommend Bryce for drainage work, and I will not hesitate to hire him again for any future drainage work.

Two of my roof downspout drains became clogged where they ran underground. They were that cheap, flexible drain pipe that you can’t clean out. Bryce ran new schedule 40 PVC pipe under walkways associated with both downspout drains. He ran them out, underground, to terminate in my lawn. Bryce did an excellent job for a reasonable price. He was professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend him.

I cannot recommend Seattle Drain Service enough! Bryce is trust-worthy and extremely knowledgeable about everything related to draining & the inner /underground workings of your property. He came over and explained to us why our basement was leaking, talked through potential solutions, and ensured we did not pay for anything we could do ourselves. His quote was the fairest we received, and he even encouraged us to talk to other businesses to see if we liked their ideas better. Alas, his was the most thoroughly thought-out plan and he fixed the connection between our out-spout & the sewage pipes beneath our house in a timely manner. Go with Bryce!!!

We have had a leak in our basement for a while and were expecting to have to have a major remodel to fix it. Bryce immediately diagnosed the problem as our downspouts not properly draining. This was not only a lot less intrusive of work but was also significantly cheaper than say a French drain. Once the bid was signed Bryce was extremely punctual and got the job done quickly. He was very communicative and explained any questions you had very well. I couldn’t recommend Bryce enough if you have any outside plumbing needs

Bryce at Seattle Drain Service is a rare find, with a combination of deep knowledge and efficiency. He created a complete storm drain system for our home that was logical, affordable and considerate of the property. We'd hired a couple "repair" people who accomplished basically nothing.
