Sean Smith came to our home late in the day as we were last minute addition to his schedule. He replaced a broken tubing that was leaking lots of water from our dish washer. Two other plumbers had misdiagnosed the problem. He did a wonderful job. He even left for a few minutes to purchase needed materials. The two other companies charged me plenty just to misdiagnose the problem. Both had complicated and expensive solutions, including guying a new dishwasher. I declined them. Sean ran the dishwasher and identified the leak issue. His rate was reasonable and I didn’t have to redesign my kitchen plumbing, or buy a new dishwasher as was suggested by previous plumber. Sean was pleasant and explained his work in an understandable manner. I recommend Sean and Gene Johnson plumbing without hesitation. Honest , reasonable and excellent

After 65 years, it was finally time to replace our hydronic boiler, control valves, expansion tanks, etc. that serviced our whole house baseboard heating system. Owen did a great job in explaining in detail our options and what was involved in the installation during our due diligence review in getting estimates and pricing from different contractors. After hitting up five different heating companies, I have to say Gene Johnson won in every category!! It was a nicely laid out estimate with all major components listed out. It was a very large complex job in a relative tight area and our technician Joseph did a fantastic job in putting it all together. He was very friendly, clean, answered all our questions, and his work was meticulous. They definitely didn’t skimp on quality and we are very happy with the results. During the initial estimate we had included provisions for adding a future indirect water tank too, Owen explained the pros and cons of this type of system and he ended up convincing us that it was well worth just installing it now in conjunction with the boiler install, we agreed and couldn’t be happier. It never felt like this added work/recommendation was sales pressure or just another up sale, the deal ultimately was really too good to not accept. Owen is the reason I’ll give Gene Johnson a call in the future - spent time on a well put together quote, diagnose a leak issue, and walk me through the issues and potential solutions. I felt respected and heard the entire time, and I’m super happy by the experience overall. UPDATE: Joseph and Owen just finished out our hot water heater project and I’m super happy with the results. Fair price, really nice work, and stellar attention to detail. I feel like the money was well spent. Joseph and Owen both went the extra mile to walk me through the install and tankless heater and dos and donts, and they treated our house like it was theirs. Heartily recommend them if you are looking for a water heater replacement!

I recently had to replace my water heater and I contacted Gene Johnson. My plumbing technician, Jose G. , was excellent. He was professional, cheerful, he patiently answered all my questions. My water heater had leaked all over the garage and he even cleaned that up too! I’m impressed. I’m definitely using this company again.

I can't thank Sean Smith enough for his honesty and professionalism. I was having issues with my water heater tank, and every other technician I spoke to insisted that I needed to replace the whole system. The quotes I received ranged from $2,000 to $5,000. As someone who doesn't know much about water heaters, I was feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what to do. Then Sean came over. He took the time to thoroughly inspect the system and, to my surprise, told me that I didn’t need to replace the tank at all! I kept asking him, “Are you sure?” because it just felt too good to be true after what everyone else had said.
