Rudd Plumbing, Heating & Air

I have changed this rating from 5-1 due to an issue that was supposed to be taken care of but wasn’t. On April 2022 I started having issues with the old system so I had Rudd install a new HVAC system in my home so that I could have peace of mind and I have had Rudd perform maintained every 6 months as recommended. This Friday 8/15/25 I noticed water on my living room floor, didn’t know where it was coming from until I looked up at the ceiling and noticed it was leaking water. I immediately call Rudd who told me they would not be able to have someone come out until Saturday but then got a text soon after that letting me know that they had a tech available to come out later that afternoon. The technician came out to assess and found that the drain was clogged so he claimed to have unclogged the drain. He also requested that later in the evening I turn off cooling system and just leave fan on for a few hours and then do the same thing in the morning for a few hours. I turned the system off at around 8:30p only left fan on and didn’t turn the cooling on until about 10am. At around 4pm the ceiling started leaking again so I called Rudd only to be told that they can’t have someone come back out again until tomorrow. I turned the system off because the leak is worst that it was yesterday. I am really disgusted with this situation and now stuck with having to pay for my ceiling to be repaired. I just cannot understand how a 3 year old system can be malfunctioning this soon.

The crew prepared for the job by protecting our floors. After the job was done, they left my home as clean as when they arrived. They explained the workings of the unit and it works great. The workers were friendly and the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

It has been so long that I have been able to rave about a company and its personnel that I would be remiss if I didn’t share. I had a leak in a freestanding tub for the second time, and it was recommended that I consider replacing the tub. After clear and concise information from Josh and Jayce I decided to move forward.
