Roto-Rooter Springfield

I’ve had roto rooter do a few different projects for us now. We got a partial sewer fix, burst pipe repair, dishwasher install, and will continue to go through them. They are professional and know what they are doing. They communicate issues they see happening, and have fair pricing. Plumbers are expensive and they have fair pricing for their services. For our sewer we got multiple quotes and roto rooter was communicative and fair throughout the process! Unlike other plumbing companies we got quotes from.

Horrible communication. Can't believe I even have to leave a poor review, waiting days to find out a solution. Begins with great discussion went well of getting bath tub shower replaced. We were happy that we were finding options replacing an older bath tub, had a crack starting. We were proactive and were looking for good quality tub seeking installation promptly. Our issues began when the "manager" Randy failed to call us back the afternoon before installation after consultation. We were per Randy on June 11, supposed to receive a call back that day of, for finance options. Waited and waited, finally got ahold of Randy and said we wanted to do the installation. He never gets back to my husband and I, saying he would call back between 4-5pm or 8-9am the next day, guess what no response. We do not appreciate being lied to and lack of communication from a "professional." We get a text on June 12, saying a tech is on their way. Ok? Thanks for calling us back first. Then the techs get here, they didnt even have a bath tub in stock so they had to go to a chain store since their supplier didnt have it Randy said he would call back after issue with installation. My husband has been very communicative, with very poor response from Randy. Numerous times Randy never gets back to us and gives no call back, we have missed work for an issue that our subfloor was sawed through. What kind of service is this? I am very disappointed and I rarely leave bad reviews. Do not use this company. I am sorry to be so rude but the horrible lack of communication from a manager has left a bad taste in our mouth. I used to work in retail management and I always had enough decency to call back a customer. Especially if I did a service for someone, or oversaw a project my associates did. As well, Randy got back to my husband June 16, and he said he would be here 1st thing Wednesday, which is today June 18. Not a single text, call, or anything from him. He was a no show and we had to call the main dispatcher person and voice our concerns.

If the stepowoys aka chistopian service llc are still involved with this business stay away. They were more keen on having sales than qualified plumbers to the point of sending their employees to sales course to teach how to up sell versus actually focusing on their craft. Due to that previous experience that is why this place will still get a 1 star.

Another excellent experience with Roto-Rooter. Always very professional on the phone and on site. Scheduling was easy. Serviceman arrived on time and went to work on my water heater. I've hot water again @ quite reasonable cost. Convenient, pleasant, efficient and effective ! I'll be calling Roto-Rooter again for my appliance service needs.

Davian and Carlos were very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. they have great communication skills and explain everything in detail. Thank you for the amazing five star service gentlemen.
