Right Now Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing

Under my husbands name, James Crawford, we had a new furnace and air conditioner installed 6 years ago. It was been a nightmare from the get go. They sent inexperienced trainees to install it who couldn’t figure out what they were doing. They dropped the unit before getting it installed and bent the coil. They told my husband it was no big deal and just popped it back straight. In hindsight, we should have demanded they get us a new unit after that. Unfortunately we trusted them. Then, the way they tacked the refrigerant line set to the side of the house left much to be desired. Picture included. We complained about this and they managed to fix it. But the saga continued: when they finally figured out how to get the thing installed, the electrical on our air handler was not done to code. A city inspector came and failed the electrical on our air handler, and a separate electrician was sent to fix it, all of this happening MORE than 6 months later. That electrician that came and fixed it marveled at how poorly it had been done and said it was a huge safety risk. We communicated our frustrations with the company the whole way, and it felt like babysitting them through the process. When it was finally in and up to code, it has gone out every year. The furnace will freeze over, then we turn the AC off and blow the fan so that it thaws, and it will cool somewhat. Things improved when we changed the fan to blow harder, but it continued to freeze over. We insisted there had to be a leak somewhere to their technicians, but they would come and stay for ten minutes and then rudely say they cant find anything wrong, must be in our heads that the house wont cool down, fill it with refrigerant to pacify our complaints, and then leave. It would work alright for a little while then the process would repeat. This has been going on six years. Sick of it, we hired a totally different company to come look at it. Within 2 minutes, they found a huge leak on the coil. The whole coil needs to be replaced which will cost thousands of dollars. This is only a 6 year old unit. I don’t trust right now heating and air to fix the problem. We don’t want them to “try to make it right.” After 6 years, that ship has sailed. At this point, we want to lick our wounds and beg others to not go with this company for installation of new units. One final thing to note is that our AC unit in the backyard is falling off the supports. Picture included. I am editing my review to add more information we have learned while trying to get parts warrantied out for replacement. First of all, this company did not register (or inform us that we needed to register separately) the air handler and evap coil, so we didn’t get the 10 year warranty on those items. We were led to believe all parts were included in the 10 year warranty of the system. Furthermore, our receipt we have says we payed for a 4 ton unit, however we have learned through looking up the serial number to get a matching coil that the unit is actually a 3.5 ton. This probably has something to do with why the thing hasn’t run efficiently these last 6 years. We did not receive what we paid for. That is deception. The things that have happened are not simply inconveniences. They have been dangerous mismanagement and deceit. And your response is also full of half truths. We will not be contacting your company for a “complimentary second opinion.”

We are thrilled with our experience! We had an air conditioning system installed yesterday and we could not have asked for a better experience. From the initial consultation to the end of the installation (less than 24 hours) people were respectful, informative, and not at all pushy. Our installers, Jackson and John, were awesome people! They did great work and didn't leave any mess. They happily answered all my questions and even explained some things about my furnace (fairly new install - but with another company that I am less happy with). We are very happy with our experience and would definitely call them again.

Jackson and John were outstanding from start to finish. They expertly installed our new AC unit and quickly fixed a tricky issue with our filter—a problem left by a previous company. They were incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but also so kind and friendly, making the entire process stress-free. They truly exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend them.

We had two technicians from Right Now Heating & Air come install a mini-split system, and the experience was outstanding. They arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up everything when they were done. The installation was seamless, and the quality of their work shows. Our house is now more comfortable than it’s ever been. Couldn’t be happier with both the service and the results—highly recommend!

They offered a free inspection/quote to check the washer drain as I thought it was leaking. The plumber came out on time. Was very professional and polite. Did a complete drain test and determined there wasn’t any leak. He spent almost 2 hours performing this check bin the end it cost me nothing. He put everything back where it was and cleaned up after. Highly recommend!!!! Stellar service and will use them for any future plumbing issues. (I had tried for over a month to get a plumber to come out. No luck. And one that agreed to come out was going to cost over $100 just to look at the issue!!)
