I had a great experience with Quality Comfort Home Services! I was in a panic when my A/C stopped blowing cold air on a Saturday (of course) morning! Fortunately, I remembered all the signs posted in my neighborhood for this company. Thank goodness they are open on weekends. They sent an amiable and knowledgeable technician out within hours. He explained the problem and had my house back to livable condition in no time! Also, the young woman who fielded my call was friendly and respectful. Now, their sign is in my yard! I highly recommend their services.

Edit: the reply here mentions that they tried to call us. I have no record of any missed calls, nor any messages left on my voicemail, no emails trying to reach out otherwise. I have called and spoken to the front office staff person twice to relay my message. From my side, there has been no contact from them until I decided to post this review. I would be happy to amend this review if they ever actually get in touch. Up until recently I would have rated them much higher, as all of the technicians that come through are very friendly, professional, and do not try to upsell us. We have been using them for all our hvac and plumbing needs and even have their membership, and so I’d like to clarify that this rating reflects mostly the ownership (although some workmanship concerns) and not necessarily the technicians who are not empowered to make the decisions to provide the best customer service they want to. Our experience has left us feeling shocked and disappointed and we will no longer give our business or recommend them to others. We have a mini split that they installed that was leaking and the rust was dripping down our wall. Upon having a tech come out to diagnose, we learned that it’s due to missing insulation - something that should have been installed initially with the unit (and to note, this was already installed twice by them as the first time was also done incorrectly and sitting too low on the wall to drain properly. The owner came out to fix it himself the second time.) Separately, we were also requesting a new mini split install estimate for another part of our home. Instead of offering to outright repair the first unit and stand by their work, they said they’d only fix it if we went ahead with the $6k+ mini split install of the second unit so that they could do the work at the same time. If we did not proceed with that install, the quote to repair the first (remember: incorrectly installed unit by them) was nearly $700 and deemed “fair” (separately, I learned that the materials cost for this repair is around $30 plus 1hr or so of labor). Why they think we would ever pay $6k to have a new unit installed when the quality of their work and any accountability for that work was already in question was surprising. Upon calling the office to ask to speak to the owner to better understand this decision, I was told that I “probably wouldn’t get a call back from him”. Still hoping to give this company the benefit of the doubt, another technician came for our tune up and I shared this situation, he agreed and said he’d speak to his manager to hopefully open an investigation again. We have not heard back and at this point it is going on over a month since the initial call and over a week since the new investigation, so at least his front office wasn’t lying about not calling customers back. However, I am shocked that a business owner’s default message is “probably not going to call a customer back” when even the technicians that came through our home to look at the unit were shocked they wouldn’t just fix it and one admitted how “embarrassed” he was that this was their work. I have tried to give them opportunities to make this right, especially in light of learning what a relatively easy fix it is. So instead of eating that $600 to properly install the unit and restore credibility, they’ve lost all our future business. I have lost all trust that they will do 1) quality work and 2) what is right. I caution you to get a second opinion if you are considering using Quality Comfort.

I scheduled with them same day and was able to get the technician early due to him finishing a job quicker than expected. Dave met me at my door and understood the dynamic between my landlord and I.
