Upon the completion of a recent home project in my crawlspace (not related to any plumbing issues), I noticed that I had a small yet steady leak from my water heater. This was mid-February 2002. Since I have a home warranty, I reached out and placed the required service request. The plumber assigned to me by the home warranty company came out to look at the issue. After over a half a dozen trips to repair the leak over a course of 2-1/2 months, they were still unsuccessful at fixing the problem. Every time they left my house, I heard, “that should fix the problem” or “we will call when the part comes in” or “let’s see if this does the trick—call us back in a few days”. The home warranty company would not provide an alternate contractor and insisted that I stay with the same incompetent contractor until the situation was resolved. I knew of Payton and his company through another contractor and reached out to Payton for help. In just 2 visits, Payton not only fixed the original issue; but uncovered and repaired another leak that appeared to be repaired with a very poor patch job by the previous contractor. Payton was responsive, polite, affordable, fair, and explained everything to me step-by-step, complete with pictures. I knew exactly what I was paying for and was confident that the issue was being resolved correctly. I will never use another plumber for any future needs. Don’t waste your time thumbing through other Google reviews, Facebook recommendations, etc. Go with Payton! You will not be disappointed.

I am very happy with Mr. Payton and the whole team at Provident Plumbing. They were always great response times! I will absolutely continue to work with Mr. Payton and Providence Plumbing in the future. Mr. Payton was very responsive, and very nice, and we appreciated his time. I happily recommend Provident Plumbing to anyone looking for a quality plumber in the area. We were alerted by our water company that we had a leak (ranging from 20-40 gallons per hour) but we couldn't find the leak anywhere. We called Provident Plumbing for help and really glad we did! Peyton came out to help, he set us up with a leak detection service and then he came out immediately after to fix the leak once they found it. It ended up being more complicated than expected but he found a solution for us and we are so grateful. He also installed a new spigot for us. Peyton is very professional, friendly, hardworking and reliable. We are extremely happy with our service and I plan to work with him again for any plumbing issues we encounter in the future.

Last week while getting ready to sell my son’s house discovered he had a leaking bathtub faucet. We tried to repair it ourselves causing a bigger issue. After searching for a plumber and calling a couple with no response we saw a recommendation on Next Door Website for Provident Plumbing. We called knowing it would be considered an emergency call due to being a Saturday but needed it fixed asap. Within 30 minutes Peyton arrived and began working. We found Peyton to be very knowledgable, courteous and diligent. He told us what was wrong and how much it would cost and got the faucet working. He explained every detail and that he would return on Monday to exchange the old (62 yo parts) to new parts. He returned on Monday and replaced everything just as he said and that he would contact us in one week to make sure everything was still working properly. We were very impressed with his professionalism and hard work. This is a family business that his Dad owned and that he is taking over. He is young but Dad taught him well should be very proud. We highly recommend Peyton!!

I used Provident Plumbing to replace my sewage pump and found them to be very professional. The showed up on time both days and stayed until daily task were completed. I did no have to go without plumbing at all. When they finished there was no mess left, they cleaned up everything and very nice and respectful while at my home. I would recommend them to anyone who was looking for a professional plumber.
