We've had Plumbtastic Plumbing out several times over the years. They installed our new water heater, fixed a broken pipe, and even rushed over on a Friday to repair the cold water faucet for our washing machine when the old handle broke. Their work has always impressed us, and they respond quickly in emergencies. When our washing machine was out, it was a big deal because we had a new baby and cloth diapers, and we couldn't go the weekend without water or laundry. I've never been asked to pay before a job was finished, so I'm not sure what others meant about that. They’ve also helped out my relatives and there’s never been any issue. Another thing I appreciate is that Clinton, who did most of our repairs, speaks fluent English, which makes communication easy. In the past, I've had trouble with other contractors because of language barriers, but that's never been a problem here. I’m happy to pay a little extra for clear communication and quality work. Great job, easy to talk to, and excellent customer service. I’ll keep calling them for any plumbing needs—just scheduled them for more maintenance.

Jacob came out soon after to look at the issue and took the time to explain everything to me, answering all my questions patiently. Zachary and his team arrived on time, acted professionally, and clearly knew what they were doing. Zachary explained how they would repair the leaking pipe in my slab and kept me updated as they worked. They made sure to do a thorough job, cleaned up everything afterward, and checked that all my plumbing was running smoothly before leaving. After our well pump stopped working, a local plumbing company in Rockville was sent out through our home warranty. Jacob from the team came over, quickly diagnosed that not only did the pump need replacing, but the well also had to be flushed. Everything was handled quickly and at a fair price. A little while later, the sewage grinder pump for our in-law apartment also stopped working and caused an overflow on the bottom floor. Jacob came back out, found out the old pump wasn’t the right fit and had seized. He also discovered the alarm hadn’t gone off because of a broken wire. While checking above the sewage assist tank, Jacob noticed the hot water heater’s electrical plug had been broken by a previous worker, which could have been dangerous. He fixed everything, making sure the setup was safe. After turning the new pump on, they found a clog in the sewage line. It turned out the sewage pipe itself was broken, not just blocked. The crew had to dig up the yard from front to back to replace the whole sewer line. The plumbers took care of everything and made sure my home was safe and sound before leaving. I’ll definitely call them again for any plumbing problems. They’re honest, reliable, and their prices are reasonable. Highly recommend for anyone needing a plumber in Rockville!
