Maston's Plumbing & Drain

I will say that the staff is friendly enough. However, when we received our quote for the leak to be fixed in our shower, we were told that the job would be done WITHOUT disrupting the tiles. It is an old bathroom - original tiles and bath - that we intended to update, EVENTUALLY (good luck matching tiles from the 70s) when we could. This is our ONLY bathroom with a shower/tub. We have a young child that takes baths. We had to finance the job, due to the costs. I am in school and working part time and my husband is a 100% disabled veteran. I included before pictures and what we were left with. For a $3000 job, this is highly unacceptable. We can't give our child baths until we get it fixed and have to be extremely cautious not to get water behind the sh*t patchwork they left us when we shower. Also, the shower head is super loose. Had we been told it would have disrupted the tiles, we would've paid someone to do the entire remodel instead. Now we are left like this and having to find someone who can redo our shower tile which will cost us another $3000-$6000, while we pay for interest on the job they already did. I wouldn't suggest using them. They ended up costing us an arm and a leg just to leave us with an atrocity that we have to search elsewhere to have fixed immediately due to risk of mold and getting the drywall wet behind it. Very unhappy. ** EDIT/UPDATE** The owner of Maston's plumbing called us within the hour of posting this initial review. He was sincerely apologetic that our bathroom was left the way it was. They were determined to make it right. While there was some conflict of scheduling times initially, they were able to have their tile guys come out and replace and seal in the tile for us so that we have a usable shower/bath now. We are grateful for their prompt response and eagerness to make the situation right. I updated one star to four. This is not per the company itself. Due to the fact they were so eager to make it right -deserves 5 stars. The only reason I left it with four is strictly for the fact that the guys who left it like that originally, probably should have known better and have made a call to their supervisor/owner/whomever rather than walking away leaving it like it was. The tiles do not match at no fault of the company or tile guys. Whomever owned the house before painted or sprayed the tiles - making them impossible to match. I've included a picture (the last) to show the final result. I will conclude this review by stating that, if you are questioning something..speak up and say something. They seem to be the type of company that wants to be sure they walk away with a job done right. I'm ultimately pleased with the integrity of the company and owner.

Of all the weeks to have plumbing issues, this week was the worst. I had family in town from out of state and all of the sudden my hot water tank decided to stop working! I asked for help on the neighborhood app and several people told me to call Maston’s Plumbing and Drain, and boy were they right. From the moment I spoke to Brittany on the phone, I knew I was in good hands. Turns out, not only had it stopped working, but it had been leaking as well. Maston’s came out right away, provided me with several options to get back up and running and even installed everything THE VERY SAME DAY! I now have endless hot water and EVEN whole home water filtration. What a blessing it was to find this company! I will never be calling anyone else for my plumbing needs!

Michael did a great job. Very thorough & explained what & how he was fixing my issue. We ran a whole new line to an existing laundry room Michael was also very efficient. Friendly too! A credit to Maston's.

REVIEW UPDATE: Dateline: Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024. "Welcome to the Plumber's Inn!" If Maston's Plumbing & Drain were an "inn" or a "hotel" (The Plumber's Inn) with a staff comprised of Kale, Chris, Brandon, Sam (the man!) and Joey, they would not only "own" but knock the term "hospitality" so far out of the park, their competitors would not even come close to touching the level of service received from Maston's Plumbing & Drain and the staff. I recognize "off-the-chart" hospitality, customer service, professionalism and passionate employees from personal experience having worked in Human Resources and hospitality. I cannot say enough. Maston's Plumbing & Drain have the market cornered when it comes to service and staff. I have not witnesses this level of service since working at Anaheim, Disneyland in the early 80s. If Maston's Plumbing & Drain is not your go-to for all things plumbing, THEY SHOULD BE. The work that Chris, Brandon, Sam (the man!) and Joey completed at our house on Tuesday is beyond a simple rating. In terms of personal satisfaction, it is "galactic." By the time the men left, not only did we feel we had plumber's for life, but friends, too! Thank you, Maston's. Every opportunity I get I will refer people I Maston's Plumbing & Drain. Carlos Michael ----- From the time John Mark spoke with the owner of Maston's on Thursday to our meeting with Chris on Friday, on a scale of 1 to 10 pipe wrenches with 10 being best, we are giving Maston's, the owner, and Chris each 10 pipe wrenches!!! The personal care, enthusiasm, passion for all things plumbing, the great care taken to assess our needs and explain everything, the ease and outgoing personality of the representative who visited with us is OFF THE CHART!! If I were 20 years younger I would want to work for this company. I was blown away by the professional courtesy and the fact that Chris was like a personal Concierge of Service. Amazing. You will not go wrong with Maston's. We are set to go with our project next Tuesday. Thanks Chris! Carlos Michael Michael Oxford stopped by today during a toilet crises and lived up to what I wrote in my original review for Maston’s Plumbing. He went above and beyond and exemplified everything Maston’s represents and stands for. Michael, Chris and the Maston’s team that I have met since last year are setting the bar that equals or exceeds what I experienced when working for Disney in 1980. That is saying a lot! You hate for something like this to happen but when Maston’s feels like your best friend, it makes life much easier. On a scale of 1 to 10 toilets with 10 being best, I give Michael 10 toilets!! He really deserves more. Thank you, Michael and Maston’s!!!

I really appreciate all the hard work put in by Michael on my plumbing project. He had a lot to accomplish, it was extremely hot and he never slowed down to get everything done in the time promised. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the products used and made sure I tested everything myself before he left.
