Louis Mechanical Contractors

Had them come out to give an estimate on a backflow preventer for one of our buildings fire supply, they were one of three who came out to give estimate. They charged $440 for the estimate (no one else charged a dime) and it took several weeks to even get the estimate and now months later after I had someone else install three of them at different locations, they just called to run my card for the estimate. I highly suggest using Ted Hebert, they are a lot more professional and cheaper, and a hell of a lot more responsive and polite. I would NEVER use these people.

I want to take a moment to acknowledge and thank Tim from Louis Mechanical Contractors for his exceptional service. He came to my residence to repair my tankless water heater, and I was thoroughly impressed by his knowledge and passion for his work. Tim took the time to explain the entire process to me in detail and even provided some helpful service tips to ensure my water heater stays in great condition. Revision 01-28-25 I cannot express my gratitude to Louis Mechanical for installing a new hot water heater in my attic the day BEFORE the 2025 blizzard! Jennifer was correct, the cozy warm bath in my big tub was WONDERFUL. I didn't think it was a big deal dealing with only warm water for a few more days BUT, I WAS WRONG. The hot water heater is wonderful, THE TEAM sent to install was also WONDERFUL. Fifty years of A++++ service, I so appreciate and trust Louis Mechanical. Please let the team know. I moved to Baton Rouge in 1974 and Louis Mechanical has been bailing me out of plumbing problems since 1974 (WOW I have grown old using this awesome company). I am so impressed with their service and recommend them whenever anyone has a need for reliable plumbing services. I am fixing to call them to service my 91 yr. old mothers home knowing they will be prompt, courteous, friendly and clean up after they are done. Even the small jobs like ours get top notch service. We were impressed with the degree of professionalism we have seen with the employees at Louis Mechanical. In the last 6 months we have have used this company for two different issues.. Each and every employee that came to our home showed respect for our property, kept us informed of the progress, completed the repairs to our total satisfaction and left the work area in pristine condition. We have used several plumbers in the last 20 years and these people are head and shoulders above their competition. We were also kept informed of the schedule and were always made aware of the their arrival timing. They showed up on time for every appointment. Fantastic. Believe me we will be singing the praises of Louis Mechanical and their employees to anyone who is looking for a plumber. We are happy knowing if we have more plumbing issues - hopefully not - we at least know who to call and know that it will be done right. We are extremely happy customers !!!

I have been a customer for over 40 years. They are competent and skilled. Recently, I had a severe sink leak and all appointments were taken, but when a cancellation occurred, Jennifer was able to send the workers to me. They were pleasant and skillful. And Jennifer was very helpful---even telling me where and how to turn off the water supply. Thanks, Louis Mechanical!
