Our plumber called ahead of time, and arrived within the time frame he said. He explained the different possibilities of my problem and rates. He was able to fix my plumbing problem within an hour. Cost was less than I expected! I would recommend Howdy Plumbing to anyone.

Michael was fantastic. He understood the problem with the toilet, and explained 3 possible ways to fix it depending on where the object was stuck. He began with the least expensive, and worked on it for awhile. Success!! The wand from the cleaning brush was dislodged at the least expensive cost. To start, Howdy Plumbing is a business that does the right thing, and handles themselves with integrity and professionalism. I will never look elsewhere. We just moved into a nearly 100 years old house in Sacramento. I knew I had plumbing issues to address. We found Howdy through a recommendation on Reddit. We called and received a quick response followed by an onsite assessment and quote. (The first place we called denied the job just after hearing on the phone) Michael came out, sat down with me and gave me different options to consider with pricing, nothing hidden. We scheduled two weeks out, no issues. Michael is communicative and knowledgeable in a way that puts a plumbing lay person at ease. He showed up on schedule and went to work undoing decades of plumbing history in a crawl space that was unforgiving, not at all complaining, or indicating he’d rather be elsewhere. He understands peoples’ needs and seems honored by his skill set and willingness to help solve problems. I had problems! After the agreed upon work was completed, I paid, we shook hands, and everything seemed perfect. Because I had old stainless pipes, when the water was turned back on, everything worked fine at first, but in the next hour I had substantial loss in water pressure and an unusable toilet due to rust deposits. This was at around 6:30 PM. I contacted Michael and he said he’d come back out and address the problem that very evening. He left his family after a long day at work to be sure my family didn’t have issues. He came out at 8pm and fixed the pressure issue, cleaned lines and rebuilt my toilet. I apologized for him having to come out, but he couldn’t have been more accommodating and understanding, saying that he did not want to leave a job with any standing issues or problems. I wasn’t charged beyond my initial bid. He could have easily added on to it all, but instead did two things: The right thing by going above and beyond taking care of the customer, and two, made me a customer for life. Customer service is alive and well at Howdy Plumbing. I’m grateful. Thank you, Michael. Do not look elsewhere for plumbing needs. This is the place.

First of all, I called Howdy on Sunday morning at 5 am, thinking I would leave a voicemail. Surprisingly a friendly and knowledgeable woman answered and scheduled a Tuesday morning appointment for my non-urgent plumbing needs. Today (Tuesday) our plumber arrived on time, gave us a fair bid, and completed the work! We were extremely satisfied with the professional but friendly technician. I highly recommend you call Howdy and have them come out. You won’t be sorry.
