The Best Plumber in Knoxville – Honest, Professional, and Above & Beyond I can’t say enough good things about Hard Knox Plumbing. I thought I had a leaking garbage disposal, so I called several plumbers in Knoxville. None could give me a ballpark estimate for a replacement, and all had steep trip fees and hourly rates between $100–$200—with zero transparency about how long the job might take. One of the big-name companies finally came out for a $40 trip fee and quoted over $700 to replace the disposal after “diagnosing” the issue. I paid the $40 and sent them away. Then I found Hard Knox Plumbing. Danny and Isaac came out and immediately discovered the garbage disposal was actually fine—the real issue was a cracked dishwasher drain hose. Instead of charging me, they advised I call an appliance repair company for a permanent fix, but they didn’t stop there. Knowing we had just moved in and couldn’t use the sink or dishwasher, they spent about an hour installing a temporary workaround so we could at least use our kitchen in the meantime. When I asked what I owed them, they refused payment. This was hands-down the most honest, professional, and helpful experience I’ve ever had with any home services company. I will never use another plumber in Knoxville, and I’ll recommend Hard Knox Plumbing to everyone I know. Thank you again, Danny and Isaac—you’re the best.

I called Hard Knox Plumbing on a Sunday morning with an issue with my shower. I tried to start the job and then realized it was too big for me to handle. Danny was there by noon (Sunday, mind you), picked up the needed supplies, and had us all fixed up within a couple of hours. They were friendly, courteous, and really had professionalism in mind, completing the work in a high-quality manner. The work price was reasonable and the quality top-notch. I will definitely use them again and will recommend to friends.

Hands down the best contractor we’ve ever hired. If you need any plumbing work done whatsoever give these guys a call. We had our whole house repiped from cast iron to PVC. They came out same day to quote put us on the schedule when it lined out for our schedule and had it done in 2 1/2 days. The guys were very professional and it was like they were never here after they were done.

Danny and the Hard Knox Crew are top notch: honest, reliable, reasonable, quality obsessed, and just great people. After moving into a new home, they gave me all the plumbing estimates I needed and took care of the immediate needs, no pressure. I’m a skeptic to honestly and quality work when it comes to plumbing (since others in the area have been unreliable and sloppy)…but Danny and his team deliver and never steer you wrong.
