I first found Richie while searching for someone to perform a sewer scope inspection on a property connected to city sewer and public water. After being turned down by several plumbers, Richie came through with a high-quality video inspection that ultimately saved me thousands on my purchase price. It was clear from that moment that he and his company operated on another level. Since then, Charles Town Plumbing has been an integral part of a full-scale plumbing installation at my Harpers Ferry home. The job has been complex and filled with challenges only an old home can bring (at times, it has felt like a sitcom), but Richie and his team tackled each problem with creativity, precision, and care. They took the time to understand my vision, helped design modern solutions that honored the home’s history, and consistently delivered exceptional craftsmanship. When circumstances shifted unexpectedly, Richie stepped up as project manager for the broader renovation and quickly became an indispensable part of my team. His ability to lead, problem-solve, and coordinate across trades made all the difference. Even during late-night conversations as we worked through challenges on my own project, Richie would mention he had just returned from an emergency call—often helping clients well into early hours of the morning. Time and again, I have witnessed Richie’s willingness to go above and beyond—responding to urgent situations without hesitation and finding thoughtful solutions where others might walk away. I’ve seen firsthand the kind of professionalism that Richie embodies: honest, hardworking, and deeply committed to quality. Truly a pleasure working with Charles Town Plumbing. The guys showed up on time and completed all work in a timely manner. Answered all my questions with courteous and professional demeanor, quick to point out what was accomplished at the end of the job. Highly recommend! We experienced a smooth and easy process from start to finish. Called at 4:30pm for an issue that required immediate assistance. Richie was at our house within a couple hours and fixed our issue. He explained everything in detail to help us prevent our issue from happening again in the future and they did not charge us an arm and a leg. We will certainly do business with them again!

Chris was amazing - super knowledgeable and explained everything he was going to do and why. And also what he WASNT going to do and why (because it’s probably unnecessary - but noted that if we decided to do it later, no problem, here’s what to look for). Excellent experience from my first call to our service call today. The receptionist was so kind and went above and beyond to help me on a really stressful day when I did not know what to do. Jimmy was professional, friendly, and helpful. He explained everything as he went and got us fixed up quick. I would recommend Charles Town Plumbing to anyone!
