Better Service Inc - Heating, Cooling and Plumbing Repair Services

We were assigned Better Service by our Home Warranty company. From the very beginning the interaction was pleasant and professional. Carrie in the office got us booked for the next day. This in itself was a relief since the first company we were assigned by the warranty company wasn't going to be able to get to us for a week and we were experiencing a leak somewhere upstairs that was causing water damage to the ceiling downstairs. Jordan was scheduled to arrive between 8 and 10am. He arrived promptly at 8am. After a thorough inspection he discovered it wasn't actually a plumbing issue but instead a leak in the lines on my refrigerator. He explained how I needed to call the warranty company and explain we needed to change the order from a plumbing problem to an appliance problem so we wouldn't have to pay another service call. Before leaving he helped clean up the water under the refrigerator and made suggestions on how and where I could possibly get the name of a contractor who could take care of the structural damage caused by the leak. Jordan was very friendly and professional. We will definitely request Better Service if we are ever in need of plumbing services again.

Better Service did a fantastic job recommending and installing an HVAC for our home years ago. We recently performed a full remodel and yesterday, after calling to inquire about our home not cooling properly, they quickly sent out their servicemen again to check. They confirmed the HVAC company our design build crew worked with during our remodel, also a reputable HVAC service brand around KC, messed up the wiring and nothing was connected to AC anymore. This was also after this other brand spent the last year going back and forth with us on other issues they caused with unfinished duct runs during the remodel. Better Service is the best - they are friendly, communicative, and quick to work with. Don’t waste your time on any other company, you’ll be glad you went directly to Better Service!

Jordan came out today and was super helpful, courteous and just a good all around guy. It's great to find a place you can trust. This is my go to place for plumbing issues, please don't change.

Update 6/18/25 Same kitchen sink clogged again 4 months later. And exactly the same way. And this is four months after this Company supposedly cleaned the line. Be advised the sink has not been used since they were here. I also should report that the last Plumber that they sent here could not speak English. He can only communicate in Spanish. So with that said, I do not recommend this company because they do not employee skilled plumbers who can understand English much less resolve the problem. Original review….. I’m not real happy at this point as the company is not following up with me on documents I’ve requested for several days now. I’m unsure why as there is nothing unusual about the request. Complete documentation of what was found by both techs. I’ve also asked for an invoice that documents the transaction on company letterhead. I am not exactly sure why it would be difficult for me to obtain this type of information as it’s pretty commonly given out by other businesses. As for the actual plumbing service that was provided, it was satisfactory, but took three trips and almost a week to resolve the problem. The last tech they sent to the house could barely speak English. I would ask them a question and they would only nod up and down. they’ve left a hole in my wall and claimed that it will not be corrected or fixed. Sad thing is Kerry requested that I give them a five star review but I can’t do that in light of the fact that it’s taken nearly 2 weeks to get documents that I still don’t have.

Great experience! Tech was very knowledgeable and thorough going through the AC check. Top notch customer service from all staff. I will definitely use Better Service in the future.
