Best Choice Plumbing & Heating

Did not resolve anything; one of the techs messes my tree up, made a messnand didn't clean it up. The tech ignored my neighbor when she was saying to him that he was messing up the tree and making a mess. He also ignored me when I said something about it. Of course it was a white man, acting with a careless attitude. My wife already informed me that the one tech, seemed to not like the people neighborhood. I also have video of his actions via my security cameras. I will be taking further action.

I almost never leave negative reviews, but I feel like I need to after my experience with this company. It’s kinda sketchy that they have 1.8 stars on Yelp but are rated so highly here…Anyways, I hired them, at my realtor's recommendation, to do a sewer lateral inspection, which was required to sell my house. My settlement was on 6/30, but I had them come on 5/12 because I wanted to get everything done promptly. Sam the plumber came in after he was finished to tell me that everything looks great, and that we definitely passed the inspection. Great. However, when they submitted the paper to the township, he put that it was a Pass, but then wrote "*N/A could not pass curb trap" in multiple sections of the form, and then also neglected to sign the form. I called to inquire about this and was told by the office staff that it's very common for them to not be able to get their camera through the curb trap, and that it wouldn't cause an issue with the township because everything else looks good. Fast forward to 6/27, I called the township to find out why I hadn't received my U&O certificate, and was told it's because my sewer inspection was incomplete. After about a million calls to Best Choice and the township while I was sitting at my settlement, I wound up having to put thousands of dollars into an escrow account and get a Provisional U&O until I could get the inspection completed properly. Best Choice was unresponsive when I asked if/when they could come back out to complete the job they were hired for. I wound up having to pay another $400 to a second plumber (Craig Block Plumbing—he’s great!), who was able to pass the curb trap with ease. I reached back out to Best Choice one last time to request that they refund at least half of what I'd paid them for the inspection, given the fact they didn't complete it and I had to hire someone else to do the exact same job. I never heard anything back from them. I'd recommend calling anyone else before you call them.

After a bumpy start to get a clear contract and schedule this work the workers sent to our home were great. Michael and Hector were respectful, hardworking, on time and did a good job. Hector even suggested the tile, which was different than I had envisioned, but I am thrilled with it. The end product in the bathroom looks great with new tile and vanity. They made every effort to mimic the textured paint after the leak in the dining room. No easy task. This will look better once we paint it.

Pat was professional and efficient. We are very happy with the job he did. Best Choice has helped with several issues over the last three years (simple toilet fixes, a new water heater, water in our basement and cleaning a drain outside). The people working the phones have always been incredibly helpful and the plumbers they have sent have been equally top notch. Great company!

Chris and Buff. They came out to my house to show off ok. The left no stone unturned lol I just love how they work together as a team should. Any questions I had the were able to answer with no problem. And they keep the area clean and the take the trash out with them!! 10/10
