Bassett Services: Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, & Electrical

Jared was amazing! He quickly diagnosed the issue and provided options for repairs. He was honest, transparent, and personable. I awarded them a 2 as they did get a service rep to the house on a Sunday afternoon/evening. It has been down hill from there. I haven't been able to get a service call back since the service person left. He did not have the appropriate tools to fix the issue, which was an over-charged system resulting in a thermal lockout by the condenser as it overheats. This system was installed less than 30 days ago. Getting no response from the service group is unacceptable. Sitting in 84 degree heat is unacceptable. No vehicle for them to escalate the issue is unacceptable.

Anthony Griffin did an amazing job installing our new HVAC. That was a LOT of work, but he took care of business without a flinch! Great work ethic and very professional! We will be happy to use his services again in the future. Thank you, Anthony! And Rowdy says “thank you” as well 😉

I’m extremely disappointed in the service that I received. We called on a Friday. Advised that we had water running from the outside into our basement. We were told by the representative on the phone that someone would come out that day. However, they reach back out and said they were not able to get us on the schedule because it was raining outside and we were not in an emergency situation. Therefore, my husband and I had to hold a pipe to the wall for the whole night taking turns. We were put on the schedule first thing Saturday morning. The The technician came out and fixed part of the issue and relocate it more water into my yard and our neighbors. The technician advised that someone will come out later in the week to fix the downspout with a camera. I was scheduled on Monday morning. I received no notice that this was going to be my timeslot. I was not home during this time. When I called the company. They said they would put a note in for dispatch and to call in with my new updated time.. After multiple attempts of reaching back out and getting my time, adjusted to something that was available for me. The technician came back out, advised that it was not the downspout that was spewing water out of it and that we just needed a whole new sub pump for over $700. The sub pump was just put in/replaced five years ago. The technician refused to listen to my husband in regards to what we were wanting. Was adamant that it was the sub pump. He did not camera the downspout as requested. $180 down the drain, Water now flooding into my neighbor’s yard. We have to call another technician to come out and do as we requested. The service fee was supposed to be $55 but because it was a weekend we were charged more even though of the scheduling conflicts on their behalf. A waste of time, a waste of money and still dealing with issues. Would not recommend this to anybody.

I've been using Bassett Services (previously Best Plumbing) for several years and just had them out to work on my Sump Pump. To say I was impressed with their service would be an understatement. They were a 10 out of 10. Most impressive was Leon Montecinos their plumber who quickly identified and corrected the problem. Unquestionably the most knowledgeable, professional plumber I've had do work for me.
