American Rooter

I’ve been using American Rooter (Lonnie) for years! He’s honest, reliable and professional. Even though I’m back to renting now, he’s the first number I gave to my landlord!

I've been using Lonnie now for several years. He is very professional and competent, timely, takes extra effort to keep the work area clean and neat ( sometimes very hard to do when working on sewers), and a very good value ( just did a job for me that other companies we're going to charge 2 times more for the same service). I would highly recommend him as I have to all of my friends!

I called Lonnie about an issue with a leaking pipe. He said he'd come over prior to completing the project to assess the issue. He came on time as promised. He was knowledgeable and polite. I ended up fixing it myself, it was a minor issue. But he definitely earned my business next time.

I was very impressed with this guy. I called this guy to reset my toilet due to a wax ring leak. He had good availability and came right out. Showed up with a face covering on. 5 minutes later he diagnosed the problem as actually being my supply line was bleeding water under the toilet that eventually was re-surfacing around the edge. He could have easily changed out my toilet and billed me $150-$200 and tightened down the supply line, but he was able to keep it to a service call. I'm happy to pay for him the $75 or so for the consultation because to me you pay someone for their expertise and ability to fix a problem you have not just their time. So I pulled out my checkbook, thrilled that it was going to cheaper than expected, and he refused to bill me for it. I even insisted a second time pointing out that his expertise fixed the problem and time was worth something, but he insisted that it was a big deal. I would absolutely use this guy again. Good first visit.

Really can't say enough great things. Called a day before due to basement flooding. Not only were they able to make an appointment for the very next day (and even said if it was an emergency, they may be able to do the same day), but they were on time and got right to it. Guy is very professional, and as new homeowners, helped educate us on ways to prevent the clog from getting drained again, and what routine maintenance needs to be done. Prices are incredibly reasonable. This is the second time I've used them (previous issue unrelated) and they'll be my first call every time.
