Carlos and Mike G. did a phenomenal job with servicing. They were professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything they were doing to make sure I understood the process of getting my central air back up and running. Their attention to detail and clear communication really stood out. I truly appreciate their excellent work and highly recommend them!

Our water heater started leaking and I called Akian plumbing. They were able to come and look at it same day. When they couldn’t replace it on that day, so they gave provided a temporary water heater to supply water for a couple of days. They scheduled a day to replace our water heater and came when they said they would and did the work they said they would do. They cleaned up well and did a great job. Evan was particularly helpful. When we ran into a couple of snags with our old house, he came up with a solution right away. He communicated very well with us all of the time. He gave us a good estimate on the heat pump water heater that we wanted he was willing to answer all our questions. I would definitely recommend this company to anybody.

Chase and Berkley did a phenomenal job. They actually came back twice without an extra charge because I had additional items and needed to adjust my estimate. The were very professional and knowledgeable (especially Chase)! They listened, answered all my questions, talked through options with me, and completed everything that day!!! When one item took longer to fix and required extra work, they were generous enough, despite my offer, to keep the original estimate. Highly recommended! I will continue to use this company in the future!

EXCELLENT experience with Akian!! I am a renter in Boston with broken AC who had never had a central air system before so I researched a few different companies before choosing Akian, which had the best reviews and prices. They are very communicative about appointment confirmation, reminders, and timing updates; and I love that they send a little message with a picture of your tech when they are on their way. I also received a phone call confirming how many minutes away they are. I really appreciate this as I have been burned before by companies showing up before/after the timing window they've stated without notice. For my first call James G. came and was very friendly and extremely thorough in checking out all aspects of the system, even though he suspected what the problem was from the beginning he was sure to look and inspect every detail and confirm everything was looking good. He even went up a janky ladder onto the roof in 90 degree weather! He was very personable and answered my many questions and explained what he was doing every step of the way. I had to book another appointment a few months later for another issue with the AC system (something different broke, unrelated to previous service) and was helped by Carlos. He diagnosed the problem within 60 seconds and quickly fixed it, but stayed to double check other parts of the system and to make sure everything was still working and didn't break right away. He was also friendly and answered my new questions! Both times James and Carlos were very professional and helpful. I can tell that Akian is a well organized company and I appreciate that they take pictures and document service being performed, I think it's better for their workers and for the clients. I would highly recommend this company especially if you are on the fence choosing between a few different ones, you will not regret it and their prices are fair! I will definitely be contacting them again for any future needs!

James G came to our home after our outdoor AC unit stopped working. I called in the afternoon and they could only get us in next morning, but he called with a 30 min heads up & arrived by 8am. He was very friendly & knowledgeable. He replaced the part that was broken and made sure everything was working. They take pics and videos of everything, which is nice to have when he's explaining things. He did offer a number of other services (cleaning, maintenance, etc) with pricing and was not pushy and easily accepted when we declined certain things. Able to take credit card payment easily on their iPad. Overall a positive experience and we scheduled preventative maintenance with them! Thank you James, we're much cooler now!
