Academy Air Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electric

I was initially very impressed with the exceptional customer service leading up to my appointment. The reminders, confirmation calls, texts and even a photo of the technician arriving were all thoughtful and professional touches. My technician, Byron, was polite, knowledgeable and thorough with his diagnostic. However, the issue began with the price. When I scheduled the appointment, I confirmed the “$99 any clog, any drain” offer that was advertised on their website and in their commercial. The representative I spoke with assured me that the price was noted on my order. On the day of service, Byron informed me that the cost would actually be $253. I showed him the screenshot from their website as well as the commercial, but he explained that the promotion didn’t exist in their system. Byron worked hard to resolve the issue, involving his manager Rick, while I also called the office. The office staff were professional, polite, and confirmed that they also saw the $99 price on their website. Unfortunately, Rick stated the ad was over 5 years old and that the company would not honor it. Despite the courteous communication from both Byron and the office team, I ultimately had to cancel and hire another company. While I understand outdated ads can happen, it should not fall on the customer when the company’s own website is still displaying them. It left me questioning whether this is a tactic to pressure customers, given the urgency of plumbing needs, into paying higher prices once the technician arrives. Although I was very disappointed that Rick refused to honor their own advertised price, I still want to acknowledge the professionalism of Byron and the office staff. It’s unfortunate that excellent customer service was overshadowed by misleading advertising and poor management decisions.

Great experience with Academy Air – Nick L was awesome! Had a great experience with Academy Air! Our AC went out late at night, and they were able to get someone out first thing the next morning. Nick L was our technician, and he was fantastic—super professional, friendly, and clearly knows his stuff. He explained everything in plain terms, fixed the issue fast, and made sure everything was running smoothly before he left. Really appreciated how honest and upfront he was—no pressure, no upselling. Just solid, reliable service. Definitely recommending Academy Air (and Nick L specifically) to friends and family!

Many good experiences with Academy Air Plumbing and Electrical. Had a visit today from Miguel Aguilar. Yet another top notch professional on the team. He explained a lot about the plumbing in my home, all that was right and where I could improve some simple periodic tasks to keep everything running great. I highly recommend this company and all its employees I have had the pleasure of working with so far.

My wife and I had not had good experiences dealing with heating and cooling companies until we called Academy Air, Plumbing and Electrical!!! From that first phone call. They sent out a service technician that was top notch in my opinion!!! Nick L came in and explained exactly what was here to do. He did not miss lead me. He told me that fact my situation!!! The whole process from booking to scheduling was easy and courteous. We were able to get a sewer inspection the next day which was helpful for our house sale. Elijah was outstanding. Friendly and helpful from the outset. He explained everything well, found a workable rate estimate that worked for us and did the sewer scope efficiently and explained every step. We got photos and a video of the inspection before he left. The quality is a bit grainy at times but adequate for our purposes. Overall excellent service and value.
