Chase, the service tech, was awesome. Very friendly, professional, explained everything he needed to replace, and very knowledgeable about my A/C unit. He recommended possible future repairs, with no pressure to make an immediate decision. Price for the repairs was about what i had expected. Couldn't have asked for better service. Thanks Chase!
I cannot say enough good things about Standard! They are great. Our technician was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to get us back up and running the day he came out which was excellent with the index as high as it is. The office staff was very friendly and got us on the schedule the next day. We were very pleased with our experience with them and will definitely recommend them to others and use them in the future.
I found this company searching Google and they had good reviews. The AC Unit was out at my company and I walked in to 84 degree temperature in the office. I called at 7 AM and was told that they would have a technician come by sometime during the day but could not give me a window for when they may arrive. I was also told I would receive a call 30 minutes prior to arrival. I called again at 1 PM to check because the temperature in the office was rising and was told that I was next on the list and the Technician was already in my area. I didn't hear from anyone so I checked in again around 3 PM because that is my usual end of day. I was told the Technician took a lunch but should be on the way soon. I received a call around 3:30 PM telling me that the technician would arrive within 30 minutes. I asked if that was guaranteed and was told that it wasn't because they may get caught in traffic. I pointed out that I had already been told that the Tech. was in my neighborhood and was told "that's just what we tell everyone." I waited until 4:15 PM and gave up. I left for the day, without ever seeing a technician. I received a call around 4:30 informing me that the technician had arrived and no one was there. I confirmed that and told them I had decided to go with a more reliable company, only to be laughed at by the person on the phone. This company may or may not be good at what they do, but I will never know. I do know they lack professionalism.
We have been customers with Standard for at least 10 years in our last 3 homes. We’ve been blue chip members (yearly maintenance plan) and have typically received excellent service with knowledgeable technicians and fast service. Unfortunately, our last experience and current experience have not lived up the standard we’ve experienced in the past. We had about $1k in repairs done on our AC last month. The system went out again yesterday. I managed to make an appointment online for today (Sunday) but my partner called to see if we could be seen same day. They told my partner they could not come same day which was understandable since it was late in the day. I received a confirmation text and email for today (Sunday) but when a technician did not show during our time slot, I called. The representative said that there was no one available to come see us today because of multiple emergencies this AM. This was odd because we called with an emergency last night. The representative said it would have to wait until Monday. The representative was not apologetic or sensitive to our needs (we have a 7 month old and can’t ‘tough’ out another 24 hours without AC) This was extremely frustrating as there was no attempt to address our problem that Standard “fixed” a month ago but has since broken.
The men who checked our A/C were fabulous...especially James Thornsberry. We have complete trust in what they tell us, as shown by how long we have been customers. We feel that the men are very knowledgeable, personable, clean and very helpful when deciding on our product.
