Rich Duran Plumbing & Heating

We use Rich Duran Plumbing and Heating for both HVAC and Plumbing issues and can only say that from Office to Scheduling to Field Crew, they are Rock Stars. We can rest assured that any call they come out for is handled professionally and promptly.

Called and left a message. They called back 2 days later and requested I send them an email with images of the water heater. I sent them images that day and never heard back. Called twice (left voicmail) and emailed twice after that. No answer and no response. It's now been over a month.

I have been dealing with this company for over 9 months trying to switch out my HVAC. The heat never worked on the new unit. It took almost 90 days to fix that and they expected me to pay for a service call because it was the thermostat and they don’t test the unit at the thermostat only at the unit itself so the customer cannot expect the unit to actually work at the thermostat after install. I have asked several times for documents to register warranty or if the warranty was registered. No response. I don’t even know model and serial number and never got an owner manual. I paid almost $9,000 and for 3 weeks after I paid they called me demanding payment even after I informed them the check had cleared their bank. I cannot recommend this company.

We tried to turn off our gas at the meter which we found out is a no, no. We had to call the gas company, they removed our meter because we had touched it. They required us to install a shut off on our side of where the meter hooks up. This requires a permit. We called a few plumbing companies who said it would take weeks to get a permit and get our meter back especially during Covid-19. We called richduran at 830am they/Mark responded by 1pm, fixed the issue, and applied for the permit. Within 24 hours we got inspected and our meter back. They called the gas company, met them at the house and followed the whole process. Excellent service and friendly folks. Very reasonably priced. I thought we would be out a ton of money for their top of the line service during a pandemic. That was not the case! Very satisfied.

They saved us! We had a very bad installation and no proper startup of a new system by another Santa Fe HVAC company and our unit nearly melted down. Rich Duran Plumbing came out, performed a professional and proper startup of our system, uncrossed several wires and saved our new unit and home. Very reasonable fee was charged and we were able to sleep at night knowing our unit is working properly.
