KC Water Heaters

I'm happy to post a great review for a great company! Our water heater was pushing 15 years old. Still working but starting to leak from the bottom on occasion. I got bids from several companies in the area, most charging around $2300 and interestingly, more for a 50 gallon gas vs 40 gallon. I think I filled out the online email from KC Water Heater website and Chase quickly texted me asking for photos. I sent several over and he called pretty quick after. He was VERY detailed in all they would replace, install, even zooming in on the caps at the top that had melted. I love that their website had videos showing/explaining the process of replacing the water heater. They had "package" pricing depending if you just needed the water heater, if you also needed things like a new pressure valve due to age, the expansion tank (which we didn't have) so rather than nickel and dime all the parts, it was pretty much packaged up front. The quote they sent over we VERY detailed with every step of the installation and every part included, as opposed to others that basically sent a quote that said "Install 50 gallon water heater....$2300" BEST PART they did not charge more for a 40 gallon VS 50 gallon. They also replaced part of the vent to help the quality of air flowing out of the house from the top of the unit. Cooper and Logan showed up exactly on time, took about 2 hours and even helped clean the area a bit (we had some junk tucked behind for storage) and pulled that out for me so when they installed the new one that area was nice and clean! Very friendly, answered a lot of my questions and explained all. Paid $1715 for the whole deal (it will vary based on what you need but we pretty much needed it all.) Wish they did more than this as I would hire them in a minute for other plumbing but I appreciate that the focus mainly on this so they have become experts at it. Five stars!

Outstanding Experience with KC Water Heater! Our water heater went out unexpectedly on July 3rd. My husband and I started making calls right away, and the first available company to come out that evening was Anthony Heating and Plumbing. They confirmed we needed a replacement, but after hearing the price, I let them know I’d be getting a few more quotes before making a decision. Even though it was the evening before a holiday, Cooper was incredibly patient, honest, and informative. I could tell he was busy, but he still took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. He gave me a transparent quote over the phone and a realistic timeline for installation. After speaking with several companies, I knew KC Water Heater was the right choice. When I let Anthony Heating know who we chose, they had nothing but good things to say about KC Water Heater as well—even recommending I check out their YouTube channel, which they follow themselves! The entire experience was smooth, professional, and honest from start to finish. I’m so thankful we found them and will be recommending KC Water Heater to anyone needing a replacement. Great service, fair pricing, and truly kind people!

If you need a new water heater, KC Water Heaters is the company you want doing the job! I never leave reviews, but I feel compelled to on this one because of how great the experience was. Chase and Cooper both did a great job of answering questions and getting me scheduled quickly. Cooper and Logan did a great job replacing my old water heater with a new one. Fast, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. Honest pros that provide quality work and don’t overcharge. It was raining heavily the day of service, and Cooper even went out of his way to fix a stuck float switch on my sump pump while he was there. I’m truly impressed by the people behind this local business!

I had a great experience during my recent water heater replacement. Cooper and Logan handled everything from start to finish and did an outstanding job. They responded quickly when I reached out, removed my old unit, installed the new one efficiently, and left the space cleaner than they found it. Anthony heating and plumbing came to do a plumbing inspection. I advised their technician that our hot water heater was over twenty years old, I knew it was way past time for a new unit. But our older hot water heater was still working and not leaking, I was trying to buy time to plan the replacement as money is tight due to other repairs. Well despite telling the technician he tried to flush our old tank, which caused it to leak from the drain spout essentially making the replacement necessary now rather than later. I didn’t appreciate how they forced me to do a replacement. So I contacted KC water heaters. Chase got back to me right away, even despite being out of town with his family. He got me a quote and scheduled very quickly. Chase and Cooper called the day of appointment and showed up on time. They were very knowledgeable, fast and affordable. They were patient with all my questions and explaining everything they were doing during the installation. I can honestly say that they care about their customers which is rare. I can’t recommend them enough. I agree with others that they are an A+++ company that should be modeled after.
