My husband and I are VERY happy with Joe’s Plumbing. I left a message about a possible problem with our hot water heater. He called on his way home, after what was already a long day, and volunteered to stop by and take a look even though it was already after 6! Sure enough we needed a replacement and he gave us a very good price and worked us in to his schedule almost immediately. The work was well done and Joe himself was very nice and very professional. We have found our new plumber and highly recommend that you call him if you need one as well!

Update: Joe replaced the water heater but neglected to tell me that the pipes had leaks. I continued to get headaches and nausea from carbon monoxide leaks until I called Capitol plumbing and had to have am emergency replacement of the boiler. Joe did an excellent and thorough job. Plus he’s so affable! He easily and quickly fixed the shower head in the bathroom when a previous plumber had told us that we would have to tear down the wall! So we didn’t use the shower for 2 years! Also, since another bathroom faucet was leaking and wouldn’t stop after replacing the washers, he suggested that I buy a new one on my own at Home Depot, so I could get exactly the style I wanted. I did and he did a great job again, installing it! He’s on time and reliable too! Thanks Joe!

Over the past four years, I have had three local plumbing companies attempt to fix the issue of getting hot water too slowly to my bathroom.I’ve been told my house is large and hot water can’t get quickly from the water heater to the furthest bathroom. House is 1600 sq ft, hardly a large house. Someone suggested I try Joe Montoya—I called him two days ago, he responded quickly, fixed the problem in less than an hour. I highly recommend Joe’s Plumbing—he’s knowledgeable, professional, fast and his charges are not outrageous!

We had a horrible, confusing plumbing issue outside our master bathroom that included a grinding station, broken pipe, raw sewage, etc - so bad that a well-known local plumbing service basically walked away from it without even trying to figure it out. We called Joe and he came out within 48 hours, looked at the problem, started digging, figured out what was wrong, and came back the next day and FIXED IT! We hadn’t used our toilet in a year, but when we finally got someone who would actually try to figure it out - Joe - it took him 2 days. Just amazing. He was professional, honest, and very reasonably priced. We could have wound up with some who gouged us, but Joe was honest, did what he said he’d do, when he said he’d do it. Best service we’ve had for ANY type of help we’ve needed in Santa Fe. We even hired him again to remove an old furnace and he did that quickly within 48 hours of calling him. He’s awesome, and will do great work for you! Call him!

Joe came to my house and took a look at the job which was replacing 2 stop valves for my back bathroom sink. He could not do the job because of prior appointments. He came by the next day, replaced the valves and for a lower price than he had quoted. Definitely recommend. He showed when he said he would and didn't charge ridiculous fees.
