James Scalia Plumbing & Heating

Just used James Scalia Plumbing and Heating for a hot water heater replacement. Jennifer responded quickly to my inquiry, procuring the requested brand, size and scheduling the appointment - and the gentleman that installed it were prompt, polite and quick! Highly recommend.

Since moving to Delaware about 25 years ago, we tried at least 3 or 4 plumbing companies. I had issues with all of them. Overpriced, not good workmanship, etc. One company sat me down and explained to me what various costs went into the $1,000 charge of replacing our existing toilet. Yeah. See ya! Finally found Scalia Plumbing and the search was over. Never a hesitation to call them with any problems I’m having. When I say they are artists of their profession I’m not overstating it. I’m always surprised when they’ve finished the job and whatever was done looks incredible! The bill is equally surprising (in a good way). And no job is too big or too small. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

I have been a Scalia Plumbing customer for at least 10 years. I have never been disappointed. They are excellent at their trade; prompt; easy to work with; and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Update 5/10/2024: Still my favorite plumber and only one I will use. I have had them over probably four or five times (for different projects) over the last few months. Jim and Jimmy are super friendly and fun to talk to you. Jennifer (who answers the phone I believe) is also great! The invoices are always fair. Original review: Called them a few months ago to fix a cracked toilet flange. No nonsense, very straightforward. Pricing was fair. This is my new go-to plumber.

We are new to the area & our neighbor recommended Scalia Plumbing. The gentlemen was quick (to me) honest, clean, even removed the trash. We asked him to do a drain clean while here, which was not on the original scope of work. h He took the time and cleared the drain. Using again for additional work Very Happy & would highly recommend
