Steve was awesome. He explained everything that needed to be fixed, why it wasn't working and what he was going to do to fix it. We were able to make a same day appointment and he was able to come out earlier than expected. Great, efficient service, more than fair pricing, highly recommend!

Aaron was the tech who replaced the main water valve for the house. He was very courteous, explained how and what was required to complete the repair, cleaned the area and thanked me for the business. I recommend Five Star and would use them again.

Our water heater’s pilot light wouldn’t stay lit. Upon arrival the technician asked the age of my water heater. It’s 16 years old. He immediately said it would have to be replaced before even inspecting it. After a few minutes he said it was fixed. I was thrilled it seemed to be simple. He still heavily pushed for replacement. I signed the invoice and got a replacement quote in my email. A few hours later we realized the issue was not resolved. We called the company back and were told sending the technician back would be free. A few hours later the tech called and refused to come saying replacement was the only option. He sent another estimate. We called another plumbing company who came after hours. They diagnosed a clogged diffuser, cleared it with compressed air, and the water heater is working properly again. Essentially, your technician tried nothing and said it was all he could do. I hate writing reviews like this, and the tech and his apprentice were nice guys, but to tell me I’d need a new water heater before even attempting to diagnose the problem was super shady. And to then refuse to come back for a service call the company said was under warranty for 30 days cemented my opinion that something wasn’t right. Especially when another company was able to correctly diagnose and solve the issue. Which wasn’t even a bad component! It literally just needed a cleaning! I won’t be a repeat customer and I won’t recommend you to anyone else.
