HL Bowman Inc Plumbing Heating & AC

I will start off saying the reason I have 2 stars for my review is because they wanted to charge me over $750 for a 10min job with a part that cost $59 on Amazon. I ended up completed the job myself in 10mins after watching some videos online, removed the old Hvac condensation pump and connected the new one. I wanted them to do the work, I asked the technician to call his boss to see if they would come down because the price was insane, they came down $100 which still for a 10min job that I did was outrageous. So I paid their $70 fee and ordered the part on Amazon. Picture attached. I will say they seem like real nice folks, they even came the next morning when I called and that's not easy to find but they really need to look at their pricing and be fair because I will not call them back in the future because of that. I wanted to share my situation just in case you were thinking of dealing with them.

Alright, so my faucet was super loose, and I was totally lost on what to do. The plumber who showed up was chill and easy to talk to, real cool guy. But then he hit me with this wild idea to replace the whole faucet for a grand—like, $1,000. I got my neighborhood handyman to check it out, and he was like, "Yo, you're just missing two screws." He popped in some new ones, tightened it up, and boom—faucet’s good as new. The plumber’s price was way too steep for such a small fix. Who suggests a whole new faucet over some missing screws? Honestly, maybe I should just give that $1,000 to my handyman for being a real one

Repairman Alex Mohn corrected the problems we were having with our well-water system. Upon completion, he walked me through (step-by-step) what he had done as well as how to utilize the new components of my water delivery system. And, he returned the following day to "bleed" air out of the system that had naturally been introduced due to new parts that were now being utilized. We're 110% satisfied with the work Alex performed for us! Note: although I indicated the work was overpriced later in this review, this was NOT repair person's fault as he works for HL Bowman. As an example, the water pump power switch was ~ $50 @ local hardware store; HL Bowman charged $400+ for what clearly looked to me as a very similar device. As such, I would be hesitant to recommend Bowman's services to friends or family. (N.b. - actual parts, installation AND repairman Alex Mohn were all exemplary - my criticism in on pricing ONLY.)

Justin Heist was definitely one of the best service person that we have ever had. He took the time to explain everything he was going to do and then everything that he found about our system. Justin answered all the questions that we had. He was very courteous and respectful. Thank you for sending Justin Heist to us.
