So happy we found Great Plains here in Grand Forks, they're definitely one of those trustworthy companies that you want to recommend to everyone. Not a business looking to nickel and dime their customers and have always been respectful, knowledgeable, and helpful! 10/10 recommend.

We have been using Great Plains since 2010 on various jobs. This past October we had them over to put a new sump pump in. When we receive the bill we had some questions on what they charged us for labor and the sump pump itself, we called the owner, no answer, left a message for him to call us. We never did get a call back, so we called again and this time we got a hold of him, he said he would call us back that afternoon when he got back to the office. He never did call us back. If that's the way they want to treat their longtime or short-term customers I say goodbye I'll get another plumber.( PS - Icalled and left a message that I wanted to pay our bill and I got a call back in less than 5 minutes).

To Tom & Josh. Thank you so much for the wonderful service you provided for us in January, when our furnace was giving us problems at -35 that night. It was totally above and beyond great customer service. I feel bad that Josh had to come back again at midnight the same night to find out that it wasn't anything he had done or could do for us, but the gas meter needed to be replaced by Xcel energy the next day. We were able to get through the night with your help. You have very outstanding technicians. I would highly recommend your company.

My furnace was down in the morning and gave three flashes (pressure switch circuit open). I called Great Plain explained situation and asked rate. The price I heard was a fairly reasonable amount plus parts. Tom came in pretty quick, drove back picked up a inducer motor, put it on. Drove back the second time to get a pressure switch. After work done, I received a call from him ask for my credit card number. A little surprised, he didn't mention the amount (started feeling a little weird). I asked and found out labor was twice of the amount I was told earlier. He told me that what I heard on phone was hourly rate, the work took two hours.Upon request, got a text picture from him and saw a total due amount. I paid the bill on phone but late night found out my credit card was charged more with another amount, it turned out this total due amount was before tax. This time I got a little upset, I should have been told, at least say plus tax.

Great Plains was a subcontractor on my new house. They left random sewer lines sticking out of my walls uncapped and unlabeled. Their phone number goes straight to voicemail and they never return my phone calls. I have been trying for weeks to get answers as to what these pipes are, but I will have to hire a different plumber to figure it out, as I cannot get any reply from Great Plains. Avoid this contractor!
