For your plumbing needs, I greatly advise that you look elsewhere. Prior to the arrival of the technician, the problem had been diagnosed and communicated to the company (sweat broken pipe and do an outdoor hose bib replacement). All of the needed parts were ready, and worksite was prepared. Technician window was 5-7pm. Technician left Lexington at 7:30pm, and took a hour to arrive in southern Scott County. When he did arrive at 8:30pm, he did not have propane/natural gas needed to sweat the pipe, which had been the stated purpose of the call. They left to go to Lowe’s to get those materials, and returned at 9:50pm. Work began just after 10pm, and went until a little after 11pm. Technician left around 11:30pm. Cost of repair ended up being over $300 for what should have been a one hour, non-emergency service call that ended 4.5 hours later than the original stipulated window. If I didn’t have the parts prepared, the cost of the project would have been approximately $450 (the additional charge would have been $150 just for a hose bib). Voicemail was left that next day to express that I wanted to speak with the owner regarding the situation, and my phone call was never returned.
I shared a review a few weeks ago and was asked to contact TJ to discuss the situation of overpayment and damage to my property of over $15,000. I spoke with him, sent him over all of my documentation, sent 2 follow up emails, only to be ignored again by Fast Flow. OWNER: Please help me remedy this situation! It’s been over 6 months and we are in such financial hardship over this! The first pictures are the way mine and my neighbor’s property was left- yes, wires sticking out and all. The contract said they would be back to straw and seed (which they haven’t). Not to mention the overpayment of 125 feet of water line. The next picture is of the electrical conduit that got disconnected from the grinder pump during the excavation causing it to fail. That was $3600 to repair. The last pictures are of my basement after the clean up of raw sewage and floor replacement. As you can see, the damage is undeniable. I REALLY NEED HELP GETTING THIS RESOLVED… PLEASE!! At the very least, please cooperate with your insurance company so I can recoup something! 🙏🏼
I couldn’t be more impressed with Fast Flow Plumbing! From the moment I called, their customer service team was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful. They scheduled an inspection for the next day, and true to their name—they were FAST! The technician arrived right on time and was not only professional and knowledgeable but also took the time to explain everything clearly. You could tell they really knew what they were doing, and they handled the inspection with efficiency and care. It’s rare to find a company that combines speed with such top-notch professionalism and courtesy. If you’re looking for a plumbing company that respects your time and treats you like a priority, Fast Flow Plumbing is it. I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future needs!
UPDATE: TJ called to follow up with us same day on the quality of the clean up and concerns we had. We appreciate the customer service and effort put forth to ensure we were satisfied with the job. We really appreciate how quickly we were scheduled and the job was started. We had to have a liner put in our main sewage line, the process was explained thoroughly and everyone was very polite. Unfortunately, we are disappointed with how much clean up and repair is required to get our house back to the condition it was in prior to the repair. The wall will need to be repainted as these stains will not scrub out, our carpet is very wet and dirty and needs to be cleaned, walls have been wiped down as well as mopped and cleaned. The stains are sewage/debris from the pipe work, we recognize there is a degree of mess that comes with this work and this is above and beyond what we anticipated. At a $20,000 price point we had hoped there was a more practical and aesthetic way to fix the problem.
John Rose of Fast Flow Plumbing is, hands down, one of the most conscientious and dedicated water heater installers I’ve ever encountered. He came out on July 3rd to install a new water heater, and while the installation went smoothly, several hours later there was still no hot water. Instead of brushing it off, John arranged to come back the very next day—on the 4th of July, sacrificing his own plans to swap out the unit with a brand new one. Unfortunately, the second heater didn’t work either. At that point, I expected him to throw in the towel, but instead, he said, “You’ve been without hot water long enough. I’m going to fix this.” And he did. John checked everything he could and didn’t stop, even when the solution wasn’t immediately obvious. Eventually, he discovered a small hole in the copper pipes under the house. Without hesitation, he crawled into the tight, dirty crawl space to make the repair. His perseverance and commitment to solving the issue went above and beyond anything I expected. I’m incredibly grateful for how hard he worked to make sure we had hot water again. If I ever need plumbing help in the future, I can only hope the technician is as skilled, dedicated, and professional as John Rose.
