These guys are awesome. I got estimates from other plumbers through Angi and Thumbtack and it was a hassle and very slow. I contacted those entities on Sunday and still didn't have water by Wednesday. When I finally got their estimate, it included repairs that had previously been made in just the last few years and I questioned it. I called Durham Plumbing and they resolved the issue within hours and for a third of the price. I should have contacted them first and will from now on. Follow up. After my repair, I had another issue and they addressed it immediately and at no charge and no inconvenience as I was away. I can't say they're the cheapest, but they're definitely the best!

I called them because my hot water heater stopped working. I was bracing for them to tell me to replace it because it’s over 25 years old. They determined the gas valve needed to be replaced. If you are worried about getting talked into repairs you don’t need, it’s not a concern with them. They were also very knowledgeable and gave me advice on maintaining the water heater. The owner was also patient and answered all my questions before I agreed to proceed with the repair. It’s been a couple weeks and my water heater has been working as expected.
